A Boy Who Wants to Create a Yandere Harem and The Yandere Girls Who Want to Monopolize Him - Chapter 19
Drop-off
The night’s game of Yanderes’ tag (hide-and-seek) has turned out to be a success, and I’m the only one who won, so I’ve decided to drop Yui off at her house before heading home.
“Why didn’t you just leave me there? I lost…. “
“Tsuyuri is rather game-brained, isn’t she? “
“Game-brained is a term invented by old people who don’t understand a game…”
Tsuyuri shakes her head.
It’s becoming clearer and clearer to me that Tsuyuri might be an extreme gamer at the core of her being.
“Well, whatever you say. I’m the winner. It’s not wrong to do what the winner wants, right? “
“It is, yes…”
Tsuyuri seemed to grudgingly agree with me.
So I walked alongside Tsuyuri, carrying Yui on my back.
“Where is Yui-san’s house? “
“It’s just around the corner. Look, it’s around those trees.”
“Ah… don’t they take care of it or something? They’re all overgrown. “
I came here yesterday and also thought for a while that the trees in the yard were pretty overgrown.
I thought it was a new building or something since she had just moved to a new school, but apparently not.
“Now… “
Tsuyuri and I stand together at the door of Yui’s house. There is no light on in the house.
Then I ring the doorbell.
There was no answer.
“…This is a problem. I can’t just take her inside casually.”
“Why don’t you just wake her up? “
“No. I want to surprise her.”
“Where does Onī-Chan’s boundless mischief come from? “
“Memories of many lost opportunities as an adult.”
“It really was boundless…”
I pressed the bell again. Hmm.
“This is… probably no one home.”
“I guess so… I wonder if her parents are coming home late.”
We look at each other and nod our heads.
Then I made a suggestion.
“Let’s just go inside, put Yui to bed and leave.”
“Why don’t we put her on the entrance? What if we run into her family on the way back?”
“We’ll avoid them by flying away, my wingsuit is ready.”
“You can’t just take off from this low place.”
Surprised that the wingsuit is so easily understood, I continued.
“Well, we’re wearing uniforms, and as long as we explain sincerely, we’ll be fine.”
“…that’s true, too. Onī-chan is a monster of communication.”
“Let’s go inside.”
I quickly went through Yui’s pockets and took out the house key.
“What’s with that searching ability… that’s just plain creepy.”
“I learned about pickpocketing when I was practicing my undercover work.”
“…I can never tell if Onī-chan’s stories are true or false.”
“It’s all true.”
“Yes-yes.”
With that, I unlock the door.
When I opened the door, humid air leaked out from inside.
“…can I wait outside? “
“Okay, but when her family comes back, Tsuyuri will be the first one to explain to them, okay? “
“I’ll follow you.”
Tsuyuri’s communicative disorder is adorable.
So, we took off our shoes and went inside, saying [Sorry for intruding…].
The wooden flooring in the hallway has an indescribably sticky feeling.
“…This place isn’t abandoned or anything, is it? …is this really the house where Yui lives…? “
“It’s supposed to be that way. It’s terribly lifeless.”
In my back, Yui leaked out, [mmnn..] in her sleep. Her awakening is near.
At first, I walked to the back and opened the living room.
For some reason, the living room is very clean. It has a sense of life and is well-cleaned.
“Strange house… It’s as if this is the only used room in the house.”
“There is a blanket on the sofa, and the smell of Yui is strong. I wonder if she usually sleeps here.”
“Don’t make any remarks about smells and such…”
For the time being, I let Yui sleep on the sofa.
Yui’s sleeping face is filled with relief. It seems that she is really sleeping here.
“Sorry, Tsuyuri. Will you wait here for me? I’m going to check the other rooms.”
“You mean you’ll leave me alone with an unconscious Yui? “
“I knew you’d say that, then come with me.”
“Yes,♡ Onī-chan understands women’s feelings very well.”
She is in a better mood now and hugs my arms. She is a very strong sister.
So we became investigators of Yui’s house.
We leave the clean living room and go through the various rooms.
“It seems that the bathrooms and toilets seem to be clean.”
” …uhh, right. It’s like, only the places you use are clean.”
“I agree. Let’s look at the other rooms for now.”
The other rooms on the first floor were, as expected, dirty.
A Japanese-style room, a Buddhist altar room, and a closet. All are covered with a thick layer of dust.
“Cough-cough…! Maybe all the rooms around here haven’t been opened recently…? “
“Looks like it. Let’s check upstairs.”
We go upstairs together, and Tsuyuri’s arms tighten around me as she hugs me.
“You can stay back if you’re scared, okay? “
“I’m more afraid to go to the room where Yui is in this situation.”
“Ha-ha-ha. That’s reasonable.”
We go upstairs, then it starts to rain outside, and drops of water are dripping on the window.
“Have you seen the weather forecast for tonight? “
“I haven’t seen it… ah, maybe it’s storming today, we should go home early.
“Worst case scenario, we can stay the night at Yui’s.”
“In this atmosphere….? ” “
Upstairs, there are two doors.
“Let’s look at the room in front of us first.”
“Kuwaba raku wa bara…”
(A spell to avoid lightning strikes. It is a folk belief that chanting it during a storm will ward off thunder)
I opened the door, half smiling at Tsuyuri’s overly old-fashioned words.
What I found there was a very simple room.
It had only a bed and a study desk and not a shred sense of life.
I wondered why the windows were framed.
“If it’s a study desk, then this must be Yui’s room… “
“But it doesn’t look like Yui’s room at all. There are only books and textbooks. It’s very lifeless…”
“I guess so… hmm? “
The lock is on the outside, not the inside.
“This is…”
“What’s wrong? Onī-chan.”
“…No, I’ll tell you later. Let’s look at the other room first.”
“Yes.”
We couldn’t stop now, either of us.
We left Yui’s room and opened the room, which seemed to belong to her parents.
It was at that moment.
“No! Don’t open that room――――!”
Yui comes up the stairs at high speed. Roaring like lightning.
So I open the door before Yui can stop me.
” …this “
“Ah… you saw it now… “
Skeletons. Two of them are lying on the double bed.
Yui collapses on the ground, Tsuyuri repeatedly blinks, [wow…] and I say, [I see.] and step into the room.
They are adult skeletons. That’s the two of them. I can tell by their skeletons’ appearance that it’s a man and a woman. Yet there is no smell of death, and the room is clean except for some dust.
“……”
Splatter- splatter-
…And I feel silence pervades the house as the rain’s intensity gets heavier.
“Yui.”
I look at her.
“How did they die… did Yui kill them? “
“I didn’t kill them! It wasn’t me…”
Her voice sounds terribly sad and not tinged with a lie.
I went up to Yui and hugged her.
“Don’t worry, Yui. I don’t know what happened, but I’ll be there for you no matter what. So please don’t worry.”
“Uuu, uu, aaaahhh…. “
Yui fell to her feet and started to cry.
“Onī-chan’s generosity is unbelievable… ” muttered Tsuyuri in the background.

Thanks for the chapter. Am I the only one who remembers Gasai Yuno after reading this chapter? I feel that Yui didn’t kill her parents, but the core of this disfunctional family is similar to Yuno’s. The novel is getting better with each chapter.
This story is way more intense than I originally thought it would be. First the girls genuinely trying to kill each other, stun guns and handcuffs, now two real skeletons.
