For those of you who are confused:
The black tiger is referred by two names — 玄虎 and 北铭.

玄虎 means Xuán hǔ
北铭 means Běi míng

Xuán hǔ translates to ‘Black Tiger’ while Běi míng is a proper noun, according to my understanding. So when, it is the black tiger’s point of view, Běi míng will be used and when it’s just other people referring to it, the black tiger will be referred to as Xuán hǔ.

So, I plan to not continue using the term Xuán hǔ to refer to the tiger as I did in chapter 10. It will only be referred to as either Black Tiger or Bei Ming.

To understand this, I spent half an hour, plus read ten chapters in advance. Finally, it’s settled. The numerous characters in this novel make it too confusing but I’m trying my best to make sense.
