All Furries Love Me!! - Chapter 31 PT1
Chapter 31 PT1 – Bei Ming Has No Conscience
Ji Xingchun sometimes felt that Director Bai was in a strange range between wisdom and stupidity.
However, although it sounded a bit outrageous, there was a part of Ji Xingchun that agreed with Bai Wei’s idea.
A zoo filled with only baby animals did sound strange and suspicious.
After all, even in wildlife rescue stations, there are some adult animals rescued.
However, Bai Wei also said that he had originally considered inviting some adult demons to the zoo to stay in their original form for a while… but, he was harshly rejected.
After hearing this, Ji Xingchun didn’t seem to be that surprised.
In fact, Ji Xingchun knew a solution, which was to place some real wild animals here, but he thought this method was not very good.
Generally, wild animals in zoos are either captured from the wild, or are the offspring of animals they raise themselves, or are purchased from private breeders, or exchanged with other zoos with whom they have good relations.
Capturing wild animals from the wild is equivalent to depriving them of their freedom and forcing them to spend their entire lives in cages for people to watch, but Ji Xingchun doesn’t want to do that.
The method of breeding their own animals can be skipped.
As for the latter two methods… they both require the zoo to have certain connections, so those options are probably not going to work…
After much thought, it seemed that the only way was to seek “external aid” from the demon clan, but Ji Xingchun didn’t think that those big demons would be willing to put aside their status and come here.
Ji Xingchun sighed, and at this moment a soft paw patted his cheek.
The touch on his face brought the young man back to his senses. Ji Xingchun lowered his head and saw the little tiger lying on his knees looking at him with dissatisfaction, as if accusing him of being distracted.
Ji Xingchun blinked, and took the initiative to pinch Bei Ming’s tiger paws with each hand. He pressed the largest pad in the middle of the tiger’s paw with his fingers. With a little force, he could see sharp nails sliding out between the furry toes.
Bei Ming stared speechlessly at the human who used his claws as some kind of stress-relieving squeezing toy, repeatedly pressing his nails out and watching them retract, while letting out a happy laugh.
「Foolish human, don’t you know how dangerous my claws are?」
「Man, you are playing with fire!」
Ji Xingchun, who was concentrating on the tiger meat pad, paused, then looked at Bei Ming in disbelief: Where on earth did he learn such greasy lines!?
But then Ji Xingchun realized that the little tiger lying on his legs was actually a demon.
The same question that had been bothering him before flashed through his mind again. Ji Xingchun looked at Bei Ming and dishonestly tried to touch the pair of round ears on the little tiger’s head, but was slapped away by the other party’s claw.
Bei Ming: 「Don’t touch my ears with the hands that just touched my feet!!」
Just as the little tiger was about to protest seriously to the breeder who seemed particularly absent-minded today, he suddenly heard the young man ask:
“Do you think there is a way to get those adult demons to live in the zoo for a while? Using their original form?”
Ji Xingchun actually didn’t really want to get an answer from the little black tiger. This question had been bothering him for a long time, and he just wanted to find a chance to speak it out and vent.
If it really doesn’t work… Why not ask the parents of the cubs in the zoo if they are willing to come?
Seeing that the young man was lost in his own thoughts again, Ji Xingchun did not notice Bei Ming’s tiger face in deep thought. ‘An adult demon? Original form??’
After playing with the little tiger for a while, Ji Xingchun planned to clean up his new residence. After all, it was Saturday, and strictly speaking, it was a holiday.
Originally, he was just passing by the Black Tiger Garden so he stopped by to see Bei Ming.
After Ji Xingchun left, Bei Ming had some ideas.
Although Ji Xingchun only said a few words unintentionally, with the groundhog as his spy, he knew exactly what happened in the zoo.
Bei Ming licked his paws, then pulled out his mobile phone that had been banished to the cold palace for a long time.
Ever since the last time when he was so angry that he cried because he couldn’t use a cell phone, and was even embarrassed by Ji Xingchun who had seen him on the spot… Bei Ming hadn’t touched the device for a long time.
However, the spiritual energy in the zoo is now rising, and his injuries are showing signs of recovery. Even though the demonic power he can mobilize is insufficient, with this medium he has thought of a way to contact his subordinates.
In the Black Tiger Garden, a serious-looking little black tiger pressed one of his paws on the screen of a mobile phone. Under the influence of his demonic power, the fur on his body stood up, and the whole tiger suddenly looked fluffy.
At this time, the groundhog who was watching nearby stood up and made a shocked expression with his hands covering his face. ‘The boss now looks furry!! So cute!!!’
Of course, the groundhog didn’t dare to say it out loud, otherwise he might be beaten by the angry Bei Ming.
After injecting the demonic power into the medium, about half a minute later, Bei Ming turned on the screen of his mobile phone and asked the groundhog to help him enter a string of numbers on it.
………There’s nothing he could do about it, the groundhog had small claws of course.
After three rings, the other side answered the call: “Hello?”
Bei Ming cleared his throat and said in a low voice pretending to be calm:
“It’s me.”
•=|=•
In Anxin City, three animals are looking at each other outside the gate of a zoo.
Fortunately, today is a weekday, and there were not many people in the suburban zoo early in the morning, otherwise any passerby would probably have started shouting to call the police.
“Now that we’re here, you should all know what our mission is.” The small feline squatted on the ground with a serious face and spoke to its accomplices who were at least four or five times his size.
The one with two tufts of black hair on its ears, which made it look particularly unique, nodded: “Sneak in quietly and rescue the boss.”
On the other side, an animal that looked like a leopard but was much smaller than an ordinary leopard squatted on the ground and said thoughtfully: “Bai Wei and his guys must have set up a barrier to sense demon power outside. How can we sneak in?”
“…How about pretending that we are ordinary wild animals?”
As soon as the demon who made this suggestion finished speaking, he was given a contemptuous look by his two companions as if to say “Are you stupid?”
“Actually, I don’t understand. Can’t we just go and talk to Bai Wei and ask him to release the boss? Is it necessary to make such a big fuss and beat around the bush?” You Yao asked, puzzled.
“You don’t understand. This is to keep it a secret and not reveal the identity of the boss.”
“…Actually, the boss feels embarrassed and doesn’t want to tell other demons that he is the demon king.”
“Ahem, ahem, it’s okay if you see it but don’t say it out loud?”
The three demons looked at each other, nodded, and decided to take action immediately!
This mission was very important, and in order to keep it secret, they even communicated in the demon language throughout the entire process!
Of course, if there were humans present, they would only hear the sounds of “meow,” “wool,” and “wow.”
The three demons sneaked to the side of the zoo’s outer fence, then found a spot where the demonic energy was weakest and drilled in!
Somehow, the demonic power sensor set up by Bai Wei did not sound the alarm.
However, although the movements of these demons were extremely covert, they did not notice that there was a pair of eyes quietly watching them above their heads.
Among the green trees planted in the park, a kestrel was standing on one leg on a very high branch, and its raised foot was holding a mouse strip.
The kestrel pecked at the mouse strip with its beak and immediately bit off half of it. It tilted its head slightly, and its round, black eyes followed the movement of the three demons.
Seeing that the three demons had already entered the zoo, the red kestrel finally ate the mouse strips in a few bites, then spread its wings and flew towards the director’s office.
