‘Well… let’s go monster hunting again today.’

Several days have passed since Princess Elizabeth’s hospitality party.

I am alone in a magical forest, dimly lit even in daylight.
Almost as soon as I stopped in my tracks after detecting multiple signs ahead, three orcs emerged from the shadows of the trees.
When they notice me, all three of them pounce on me.
‘Magic bullet, magic bullet, magic bullet.’
I calmly fired three volleys of magic bullets against three orcs.

Magic bullet, a destructive bullet with compressed magic power.
It flew to the head of the orc and hit it between the eyes.
The cranium is burst into pieces as it is.

Three corpses, missing their heads, fall to the ground.

Both accuracy and power are perfect.

In short, Dust probably forcibly dragged Elizabeth into the Devil’s Forest to show off his power.
Dust, who prides himself on being a little more skilled than other wizards of his age, must have thought he could win Elizabeth’s heart by performing his magic in front of her.

Goblins with poor defence fall to the ground, mortally wounded by Dust’s magic.
Dust stomped down on the goblin’s body and fired a toe-crushing blow at point-blank range.

‘What do you think!’ Dust turned to Princess Elizabeth, thinking he was good at magic.

‘It’s amazing, isn’t it?’ Princess Elizabeth said this with a drawn-out smile.

Dust’s behaviour may have been seen as barbaric in her eyes.

But Dust seems to have taken Elizabeth’s words at face value.
After a chest-thumping, smug look, he pulls Elizabeth’s hand to go further into the forest.

‘Um… we should probably turn back now, so…’

A huge monster, over three metres long, suddenly appeared in front of them.
Muscular body.

Fully grown tusks.
The ogre is one of the strongest monsters in the Devil’s Forest.
‘Ggaaaaaahhh!!!!!!!’

The ogre attacks them with a roar that shakes the air around them, catching them completely by surprise.
(This is not good…!)
Dust’s magic cannot defeat an ogre.
I decided so and got out of the bushes and ran at full speed to the two of them.
