Genius Trainee: My Husband Isn't Human - Chapter 30
After she finished speaking, she quickly slipped out of the classroom. The teacher saw her running away so fast and shook his head, saying, “Students these days, sigh, the worse their grades, the more they like to pull little tricks!”
Luo Jingcha ran to the restroom. By now there was no one there. She took out the chalk box she had just swiped from the classroom, wrapped it in paper and crushed it, then put the chalk dust into the bubble gum box that Zhang Leyan had given her in the previous class.
She thought that given Feng Yijun’s personality, she definitely wouldn’t be waiting alone in the grove. If she stubbornly went over there, she’d probably get beaten up by a group again. During exam period, she didn’t want to cause trouble. Since she didn’t want to fight, she could only use her wits.
She took the hair tie off her ponytail, hooked the corner of her mouth, and went around the side of the second teaching building.
Relying on her hearing, she indeed discovered that there was more than one person hiding in the grove – from the sounds, there were at least ten to twenty people.
“When Luo Jingcha comes later, you guys grab her directly. This little b*tch has fooled me time and again. This time I’m definitely going to make her pay!” This was Feng Yijun’s voice.
“Once you’ve caught her, beat her to death. I still have to go back for the exam. I’ve worked so hard just so Young Master Xu can see me. This time I must make it into the top 50 of the grade!”
“Got it, Yijun. With grades as good as yours, never mind top 50 of the grade – even top 10 would be easy for you. What is that Luo Jingcha anyway? We’ll definitely make her pay later!” someone chimed in.
Luo Jingcha sneered coldly. They really thought highly of her.
After listening for a while, she basically confirmed that these people were all gathered in one place, and Zhang Leyan seemed to be among them. Since you all like to stick together so much, don’t blame me for this!
Luo Jingcha took out the hair tie, fixed it between her left thumb and index finger to form a slingshot shape, then put the bubble gum box on the hair tie. She raised her hand, aimed at a tree branch above their heads, squinted her eyes, and shot it out forcefully.
Pop!
The bubble gum box burst open the moment it hit the tree branch, and the chalk dust inside immediately flew out, making the space above their heads colorful.
“Ahhh! What’s happening! My eyes!”
“How can there be chalk dust? Who did this!”
“It hurts!”
Because Luo Jingcha had prepared in advance, she wasn’t blinded by the chalk dust. Taking advantage of their confusion, she quickly pulled Zhang Leyan out of the chaos.
“Wuu wuu wuu…”
Luo Jingcha removed the cloth from Zhang Leyan’s mouth, and Zhang Leyan began crying. “Chacha, they’re so mean! They tricked me by saying you were caught and told me to come to the grove, but they actually wanted to use me to threaten you!”
“…” Only someone with Zhang Leyan’s intelligence could fall for such a trick.
Untying the rope behind her, she said, “Alright, stop crying first. Hurry back for the exam. Just pretend this never happened. I’ll help you get revenge when I have time.”
Causing trouble during exams would result in disciplinary action, and she didn’t want to leave a black mark on Xiao Luo’s record because of these people.
“Why ‘when you have time’?” Zhang Leyan asked tearfully.
“Because I’m busy.”
Luo Jingcha replied perfunctorily, pushing her to leave quickly, threatening, “If you don’t go now and I miss my exam, I’ll beat you up first!”
Zhang Leyan shrank her head. “Okay.”

When she returned to the exam room, it was exactly fifteen minutes later. The invigilator looked at her with obvious displeasure but still let her in.
She was already proficient in eight languages, so English was naturally no problem for her. Moreover, this was just high school English. Even with fifteen minutes less, the remaining time was enough for her to complete the test.
The invigilator saw her return and work on the problems quite seriously, showing a slight look of relief on his face. But within twenty minutes, he saw her put down her pen and lie down to sleep, and his anger began to rise again.
He walked over to look at her name.
The invigilator pushed his glasses and thought: Good, Luo Jingcha, second-year art class, right? I’ll remember you!
When the bell rang, Luo Jingcha got up and stretched. As she walked out of the exam room, she clearly noticed that the invigilator’s look at her had changed slightly. She tilted her head and thought – could it be because she was too good-looking?
After the final exams ended, it became bustling outside. This semester was over and they were about to enter their senior year. The first half of senior year for the art class was for preparing for art school entrance exams. She would enter the program directly after three months of summer training, which was Xiao Luo’s original plan anyway.
The sun was about to set. Luo Jingcha was planning to go back to the company to practice some more, but suddenly a warning siren sounded.
Police cars drove in from outside and stopped at the plaza in front of the second teaching building. After getting out, they quickly set up a police line around the grove area.
Luo Jingcha frowned. What was going on?
The director’s voice came through the broadcast. “Attention all classes! Attention all classes! After finishing your exams, do not leave the exam rooms. Please stay in your exam rooms and wait for school arrangements!”
The school seemed to be locked down, and students were all driven back into exam rooms. Some students began complaining, “What is the school doing? We’re done with exams but they won’t let us leave. I want to go home for summer vacation!”
“Don’t talk!” Someone tugged at him and said quietly, “I heard that someone died in the grove!”
“What! Someone died?”
The boy was startled. Luo Jingcha had good hearing and could basically hear them clearly even though they spoke quietly. She was also slightly shocked by what she heard.
She heard him say, “I heard the dead person is our school’s campus belle, the one from the art class, Feng Yijun from the Feng family!”
“No way? Really? Someone actually dared to kill the Feng family’s treasure?”
The boy said, “It’s true! Some people taking exams in the second building handed in their papers early and saw it when they came out. They said she died horribly, stabbed seven or eight times, and her throat was cut too. That scene, tsk…”
“Damn, that’s too scary. What kind of person is so ruthless to do this to a girl!”
The more Luo Jingcha listened, the more wrong it seemed. This was murder!
After a while, a police officer suddenly came in. With a serious expression, he stood at the door, scanned the classroom, and asked, “Who is Luo Jingcha?”
His question made the already heavy atmosphere in the classroom even more gloomy. Luo Jingcha sighed and stood up, saying, “That’s me.”
The police officer looked at her and said, “Please come out for a moment. We need to ask you a few questions.”
Then he added, “Don’t worry, it’s just routine questioning.”
Luo Jingcha smiled and nodded. This police officer was quite considerate, afraid she would be misunderstood by her classmates.
But it was futile anyway. She glanced around and saw that almost everyone was looking at her through colored glasses.
“Could it be that she killed her? She came in really late for that exam just now!”
“I also suspect it’s definitely her. Feng Yijun taught her a lesson before, and I heard she even went to the hospital and almost died. This time she probably wanted to take revenge!”
“Luo Jingcha is a murderer!”
