Ghost Says - Chapter 6.1
Lin Xian went to the Song residence once again, as he felt he might have missed some things.
In Song Yuan’s room, he almost went through all of his book collection, but didn’t discover anything of value. However, it did indirectly help him understand some things about Song Yuan.
All the books he had flipped through were very well-maintained. Almost every page had markings and annotations made by Song Yuan, or one or two short comments. The handwriting was very neat and clear, with a highly consistent style. Two identical characters found inside were almost indistinguishable, as accurate as if they were machine-printed.
Every book had the date and place of purchase carefully marked at the back.
The clothes in the wardrobe were all of the same brand, and there were several pieces of the same style, all ironed very neatly and cleanly. All his belongings were placed very tidily, without any messiness.
From all this, it could be seen that he was a person who did things very meticulously and was orderly to the point of being almost rigid.
Finally, Lin Xian found a small box inside the closet. It was made of wood with intricate patterns carved on it. The box was locked, with a very special keyhole that seemed custom-made. The key was never found, so Lin Xian took the box home first.
Of course, while doing all this, he didn’t seem to realize that what he was doing was an act called “illegal”.
After several days of working on it at home and expending great effort, he finally opened the box.
Looking inside, there were only some miscellaneous small items. Not valuable or rare, even commonplace, one could say.
An ordinary white button, like one from a shirt.
A draft paper with calculation formulas written on it.
Three strands of hair, very short, carefully tied together with silk thread.
A small wooden stick, somewhat like what’s left after eating a popsicle.
A seemingly used napkin.
And some other miscellaneous items. Lin Xian looked at them and almost suspected if he was a scrap collector. Even a scrap collector might not value such things! Lin Xian held the items, somewhat dazed.
Were these things really important?
Why did Song Yuan preserve these things so well?
Lin Xian recognized that the handwriting on the draft paper wasn’t Song Yuan’s. If it wasn’t his, then who did this paper belong to?
Lin Xian fell into deep thought.
When it was time to eat, Lin Xian said he wanted to test Qiao Gang’s calculation ability. He gave him a calculation problem, saying if Qiao Gang solved it, Lin Xian would lose and pay for this dinner.
Qiao Gang calculated left and right but couldn’t solve it. He was so anxious that he scratched his ears and cheeks, then found a blank piece of paper and started calculating. Finally, after solving it, he smugly threw the paper to him. Lin Xian, who had lost, calmly folded the paper and put it away.
Honoring the bet, the two went out and had a meal of sliced fish hotpot.
Qiao Gang ate with great satisfaction, returning with his stomach half-rounded.
The next day, Qiao Gang was still thinking about that hotpot restaurant, praising that such authentic sliced fish was rare to find nowadays.
Lin Xian brushed his teeth expressionlessly. After finishing his grooming, he saw Qiao Gang doing morning exercises on the balcony and found it a bit strange. Qiao Gang was rubbing the muscles on his arms with a look of discomfort, saying he might have slept in a bad position last night, as he woke up with sore muscles all over his body.
Lin Xian thoughtfully looked at a red mark on the back of his neck.
“Did you not sleep well last night?” Lin Xian asked, seemingly casually.
“It was okay, just woke up with sore muscles all over. I guess I slept in a wrong position last night,” Qiao Gang said, rubbing his arms with a glum expression.
“Applying hot water might help, you can try it,” Lin Xian suggested.
“Really? But there’s no time now. I’ll try when I get back. Thanks!”
“No need. By the way, if you don’t leave soon, you’ll miss the bus.”
“Ah! Oh no! I’d better go then!”
Smiling as he watched him slam the door on his way out, Lin Xian waited by the window until he couldn’t see Qiao Gang anymore, then turned and walked into his room.
The morning bus was very crowded, with people standing pressed against each other.
Since he got on at the starting point, there were still many empty seats, and Qiao Gang was lucky enough to avoid experiencing the sardine-like discomfort. But his luck ended midway when he gave up his seat to an elderly person and had to stand for the rest of the journey.
“Treat the aged of other families as we treat our own aged, and treat the young of other families as we treat our own young.”
Many people know this saying, but not everyone can truly practice it.
Qiao Gang, fierce in fights, had a natural sympathy for the weak, which was especially evident when it came to the elderly and children.
After receiving thanks from the elderly person, Qiao Gang smiled somewhat embarrassedly and quickly said it was nothing, that it’s good for young people to stand more.
Gradually, the bus became more crowded, and Qiao Gang was pushed to the inside, with barely enough room to turn around. Fortunately, he was used to it and didn’t find it too unbearable.
If the person behind him hadn’t been constantly pressing against him, he thought he would have felt better.
At least the person didn’t have any strange odor, and even had a faint cool fragrance.
Smelling so nice, Qiao Gang subconsciously assumed the person was a woman.
There’s a saying that you can recognize a woman by her scent, so this woman should be beautiful.
But no matter how beautiful the woman behind him might be, Qiao Gang had no intention of turning around to look.
However, even though he didn’t go looking for trouble, trouble came to find him.
After the bus had traveled two stops, Qiao Gang began to feel something was not right.
The person behind him seemed to be intentionally or unintentionally touching his buttocks. Qiao Gang’s body stiffened, feeling a bit strange, but then he thought to himself that as a grown man, surely no one would try to take advantage of him.
Finding it amusing, Qiao Gang didn’t pay much attention, but he soon realized his mistake.
The feeling of his buttocks being fondled made Qiao Gang’s face turn bright red. This couldn’t be explained away as accidental contact.
Unable to tolerate it any longer, Qiao Gang grabbed the hand, intending to turn around and reprimand the person. But suddenly, he found he couldn’t move his body, and his throat felt like it was stuffed with cotton, unable to make a sound.
Unable to control his body, he was even more helpless to stop the actions of the person behind him.
After his buttocks had been sufficiently played with, the target shifted to his broad and firm chest.
Hands reached from behind, roaming over his chest. They slipped through the gaps in his shirt, caressing his skin inch by inch, with such force that it even caused him some pain.
No one on the bus noticed the unusual activity happening to him. Qiao Gang bit his lip, unable to make a sound.
Although he was in a state of panic, his body remained immobile.
The situation was so bizarre that Qiao Gang knew he must have encountered something supernatural. But it was broad daylight, and the bus was full of people. Weren’t ghosts supposed to fear places with strong yang energy? How dare it… tease him so brazenly?
The hands on his body grew increasingly bold, even unzipping his pants. The hand slid in like a swimming fish, grasping his manhood.
Qiao Gang felt both embarrassed and angry, his face alternating between red and white, his teeth clenched so hard they might break.
Could it be that he had really encountered a female ghost today?!
Soon, the pleasure from his sensitive areas being fondled and caressed came like a tidal wave. Even the stubborn Qiao Gang couldn’t help but gasp, his eyes narrowing in pleasure.
The “person” behind him chuckled softly, playfully blowing a breath into his ear.
Qiao Gang vaguely felt something was amiss, but he still couldn’t help shuddering. If he had been able to speak, he would have almost moaned out loud.
It was no wonder he reacted this way. Qiao Gang was quite naive about matters between men and women. Even after getting together with Xiaoyu, he had maintained his distance, never doing anything improper. In his mind, he would only touch his wife. According to Jian Xia’s previous comments, he was hopelessly pure.
As his body was toyed with for the first time, Qiao Gang’s face turned bright red. His body responded uncontrollably, if this didn’t stop soon, he wouldn’t be able to hold back anymore.
Although Qiao Gang had no experience, comparing it to his own self-pleasure techniques, the “person” behind him was indeed more skilled.
In the end, Qiao Gang still couldn’t resist and released into that “person’s” hand.
His whole body went limp, his lips slightly parted as he panted silently.
After all this time, with these outrageous things happening to him, it seemed that no one on the bus had noticed.
When Qiao Gang came to his senses, he found that his clothes had been restored to their original state. They were only one stop away from his destination, and he suddenly realized he could move again.
Qiao Gang turned around angrily, ready to throw a punch, only to find that standing behind him was a high school student in uniform, earnestly eating his breakfast.
Seeing Qiao Gang’s enraged expression, the young boy forgot to chew, staring at him blankly.
Qiao Gang’s hand lost its strength instantly. He knew that the “person” from before couldn’t have been this child.
When that person had blown into his ear, he had sensed that they weren’t shorter than him, and when they laughed, something had seemed off…
The voice had seemed too deep, and the hand had seemed larger than a typical woman’s…
As realization suddenly dawned on Qiao Gang, his face darkened, veins popping on his forehead, his eyes almost shooting sparks!
The person who had molested and teased him just now — had actually been a man!
Qiao Gang was in a bad mood all day. His usually handsome and upright face, when sullen, was quite frightening, causing even his colleagues to avoid talking to him.
