The first thing I did was deliver the materials that I already have on hand, and I completed four nomination requests. I was asked by Rabis why I had so many materials, but when I told her that I had brought them because I seemed to have a lot of requests, she agreed.

However, I cannot accept that last material.

As expected, Rabis knows a lot about the body fluids of Modular Worms, since she uses it as a beauty treatment. It can be used as a burn remedy or for skin care, it is surprisingly versatile.

“I’d rather not, but I’ve made a promise to him, so I will.”

“Understood.”

Rabis puts together the request form with a somewhat sympathetic gaze.

“How do I collect the fluids of a Modular Worm?”

After gathering information and making preparations, I came to the Demio Mine to fulfill Klaus’ request. This is the third time I’ve set foot in this place. I was a bit scared at first, but I’m getting used to it.

However when I’m told to enter through a different entrance, I hesitate. There are many entrances to the mine. Thanks to my research, I know the general route, but I’m tempted to use the entrance I’m used to.
There are no materials on the first floor of the mine, so we pass through it this time. Maybe because there are so many people on the first floor, there are no ores in the shallow areas. It’s better to go deeper into mine for materials.
Using a light ball, I walked through the same tunnel I went through the last time. I avoided the monsters that roamed in the area using detect magic stone and went down to the second floor.

However, I don’t care if there’s a possibility of finding materials there. It may be a waste of time and effort, but that’s the true joy of material gathering.

There were no monsters in sight, so I continued on my way and noticed that the tunnel was illuminated by a faint green light. It was not the light from my light ball. I activated my investigation and saw that the entire wall of the tunnel was glowing with blue material. I wondered if it might be Fire Moss. I rushed closer and found the moss thriving all over the walls. It lit up with a pale green light, giving off a gentle color in the dark cave.

When I appraised it, it was labeled as Fire Moss, as expected. The entire wall gave a luminescent glow due to the dense amount of moss covering it. It was a very strange sight.

If I had only been aiming for efficiency, I would not have been able to find the Fire Moss here. It is, after all, important to search everywhere no matter where I go.
