Yes, I did it. I have gathered all the materials I need for the quest. I’m currently walking through the town, feeling very happy. I’m on my way to a small house with a red roof on the outskirts of town, near the gate.

The tutorial quest I’m about to do is called “The Beginning of the Adventure,” and it is available in every country’s capital. All players, including those who have created their second character, must complete it because it will reward them with an item known as the Adventurer’s Bracelet.

When I arrived at the red-roofed house, I quickly knocked on the door. The door opened immediately, revealing the house’s owner. Despite her unsettling gaze, she is a beginner-friendly tutorial quest character. She is an elderly woman with gray hair in a bun. Looking at her, I’d assume she’s in her sixties.

“Do you need anything? It’s rare for me to have visitors.”

“Hello. I wish to obtain the Adventurer’s Bracelet. Could you make it for me?”

“Hmmm, an Adventurer’s Bracelet; it’s been a long time since anyone asked me to make one. Honestly, I thought no one knew about it anymore.”

She gave me a stern look at my sudden visit, but when I explained why I was there, she welcomed me into her home and served me tea.

When I entered the house, I sensed a tranquil mood. As I looked around, I observed dark green lace curtains on the windows and a warm-colored carpet on the floor. There’s also a table with four chairs in the center of the room, a bookshelf against the wall, and what appears to be a kitchen and bedroom in the back.

In most games, players can go around someone’s house without requesting permission, but if I did that right now, the soldiers would most likely arrest me. Such thoughts have crossed my head. However, the NPCs in Reas were programmed with sophisticated AI, so there were instances when I thought I was speaking with a real person.

“I’m Luminous; what’s your name?”

“I’m Sharon.”

Sharon is a pseudonym I made up.

At first I tried to introduce myself as Charlotte, but I hesitated. I realize that the name of the ducal family that caused the recent engagement breakup scandal might be familiar to some people, and if I used my real name, I might get into trouble or be followed by strange people. So I decided to introduce myself as Sharon, which sounds a little different from my real name, Charlotte.

Well, if someone actually started following me, I think my family would take care of it somehow.

I simply smiled and put my tongue out playfully, then removed the items from my bag and placed them on the table: five pieces of Pururu Jelly, three Bunny Flowers, and ten bundles of White Flower Herbs.*

“Yes, in fact, I have already prepared everything.”

When I informed her with a smug expression, Grandma Luminous’ eyes widened in surprise.

“Huh? I haven’t said anything yet. Wait, it looks like you already have everything that I was thinking of asking you to bring to me.”

“Can you make it with these items?”

“Really, what an incredible young lady you are. With these, it should be enough, so please wait for a moment.”

When I wear the loose-fitting bracelet, it makes a clicking sound before resizing itself to fit perfectly around my wrist. The It looks like the equipment in this world is the same as in Reas, because it also has a size adjustment function like this.

When Grandma Luminous noticed me casually wearing the bracelet, she was astonished.

“Do you know how to use it?”

The reason players need to have the Adventurer’s Bracelet is that this equipment enables them to use the System Menu function.

The System Menu allows you to view your own Status, Skills, Bag, Map, Friends, Guild, Mail, and other options. In addition, in Reas the System Menu has a Simple Storage Function capability, but since this isn’t the game world, I’m not sure if I can use it.

To test it, I activated the System Menu using the Adventurer’s Bracelet. To activate it, you only need to say the category you want to open.
