My Childhood Friend Seems to be the Main Heroine. - Chapter 6
This year, 180 new students entered Kazan High School.
The 180 students are divided into six classes to ensure that the student’s academic abilities are averaged out based on the results of the annual entrance examinations.
The result changed when Saito, who was not supposed to be there, entered the school, and Riri was placed in another class instead of the same class as in the past.
“This is the classroom of the third class of the first year, right?”
“The end of the second floor〜. It’s not a good place to go to the store at lunchtime.”
“Koubai? …Oh, the place where they sell stationery and bread. I didn’t know that for a second because we didn’t have that in middle school.”
With the help of the map on the back of the class schedule, Saito arrived at the far end of the second floor of the new school building.
The classroom in front of them bears a class tag that reads [Grade 1, Class 3.]
This must be the classroom where they will spend the whole year.
Saito opens the sliding door and enters the classroom.
 Creak-
Dozens of students in the classroom look at Saito at the same time.
 But Saito is unmoved.
Saito, who is always playing outside with a beautiful girl named Riri, is used to being the center of attention. A few dozen people are nothing to worry about.
“Hey, how did you sit in this seat? Is there any instruction? “
He brushes off the stares and talks to a friendly-looking boy with naturally permed hair who is sitting closest to him.
“Ah, there’s a seating chart right there in front of the blackboard. But you don’t need to look at it because it’s in the order of the attendance number.”
The boy answered Saito’s question with some confusion, probably because he was suddenly approached by someone he had never met before.
“I see, you’re right. Thanks for telling me. If you are in order of attendance number, are you Akashi Kai, whose name is written at the top of this page? My name is Saito Mizunazuki . I look forward to working with you this year.”
” …Nice to meet you too. Minazuki-kun “
Saito thanked Akashi, gave his name, and held out his hand.
Kai, who had not expected a high school student to shake hands with him, was surprised and stunned for a moment but soon took Saito’s hand gingerly.
Saito grinned happily, and Kai followed suit.
Thus, Saito made his first friend as soon as he entered the school.
”Well, Akashi. I’ll come back to talk to you later. I’ll put my luggage on the table. Hey, Riri. Our seats are over there.”
Saito stopped shaking hands, turned to the blackboard, checked his seat, and called his childhood friend.
(Ah, Minazuki-kun. You’re in the same class as your friend. How lucky…)
As Kai was thinking this while staring at Saito, an unimaginably fair-skinned blonde girl appeared and peeked her eyes at him.
“I see. Thank you for telling me, Saito.”
“No, I’m just passing the information. You can thank Akashi here.”
“Ah, okay. Thank you for telling us. Akashi-kun.”
“No, that’s… um, it’s nothing to be thanked for.”
Kai is embarrassed to be thanked by a beautiful girl who looks as good as an idol.
It’s like a fan who happens to meet his favorite celebrity.
“Kukku-!”
“Hey, don’t laugh at me, Minazuki-kun!”
His reaction is unexpectedly funny and makes Saito chuckle. Kai gives Saito a reproachful look.
Riri smiles at the exchange between them, thinking that Saito is very quick to make friends.
Riri and Saito put their luggage down on their desks, and they talk for a while until the chime rings, attracting the class’s attention.
“Sorry to keep you waiting──ouch, aww〜! “
The chime rings, and a few moments later, the classroom door opens to reveal a short, pony-tailed woman in a suit, and just as she is about to enter, she hits her head on the corner of the door and crouches down.
((((She’s definitely a clumsy person. ))))
Everyone in the class thought so as they saw the young woman with tearful eyes rubbing her head.
The young boys and girls looked at her warmly, “…The entrance ceremony is ready. Please go out to the hallway and line up in order of your attendance number.” she announced shyly, then left.
“…it’s Chie-chan sensei, huh. That is a jackpot. “
“Hm? How did you know that?”
“Uh? Ah, umm, I-I heard from a senpai that getting the short teacher with a ponytail in this school means you’re lucky.”
Riri thought she whispered, and no one could hear her, but Saito, who was sitting right behind her, heard her, and she lied in a hurry.
He responded with a chuckle and said,
“If that story is true, we are lucky.”
“Ah-ahaha. That’s right.”
Riri smiles dryly at Saito, who believes what she says without question.
“Come on, let’s get in line too. If we’re late, we’ll cause trouble for everyone.”
“Yep.”
With that, Riri gets up from her seat and leaves the classroom with Saito.
“Hey, what number are you? “
“Uh, I’m 18.”
“So I’ll be more in the back of the line. Thanks for telling me.”
Riri thanked the girl at the back of the line for her number as she left the classroom.
“Riri. We’re here. “
When she returned to Saito, he was in another line.
Riri thought that it was not our turn yet, but then she remembered that the student behind Saito was the student who was seated behind her.
Apparently, the students in our row were in descending order.
“Okay!”
Riri replied and got in line in front of Saito.
[Riri? Why is she in class 3?]
