He licked his paw, then showed off his claws.

 “Meow meow meow!” Let me be a police cat! Or else I’ll knife you all! ²

Unfortunately, humans couldn’t understand his threats. 

Qin Yan pushed open the door and walked in, standing sternly in front of the bed.

“Qiuqiu, I think it’s time for a serious chat with you.”

The little cat felt a bit guilty and turned his head away, pretending to lick his fur.

Qin Yan directly scooped the cat down from the bed. 

Shen Qiu realized what was happening and tried to struggle, but Qin Yan held him firmly.

Qin Yan sat down on the chair with the cat in his arms and turned to Shen Qiu so he was facing him.

“You’re very smart, the smartest cat I’ve ever seen. But you can’t use your intelligence to do whatever you want.”

“I know you’re unhappy about being locked up in the dormitory, but can you promise that you won’t cause trouble if I let you out?”

Shen Qiu’s body stiffened, and his tail flicked back and forth.

He went out to show off his skills as a potential police cat. He could avoid causing trouble, but those police dogs would explode the moment they saw him.
