A graceful girl dressed in the latest C-brand dress suddenly appeared at the door. She was looking at the two of them in disbelief.

“Brother Yanqing, you… you guys…” From the doorway’s perspective, the two seemed to be embracing each other, their posture particularly intimate. This sentence immediately set off Shen Qingqing in return: “Shouldn’t I be the one asking you that? Who are you? Why are you in Brother Yanqing’s office?”

Like a small animal who felt like their most cherished possession was being stolen away, she seemed to have all the spikes on her body raised as she directed them toward the enchantress before her, who at first glance gave off a frivolous impression.

This statement further intensified the anger in Shen Qingqing’s eyes.

Just as Su Yu was about to speak, the man suddenly cut in with a cold voice. “Enough. You should leave first.”

Su Yu was stunned for a moment, dissatisfaction brewing in her sultry eyes.

Seemingly aware that she was about to cause trouble, Gu Yan repeated it again with his voice deeper than the first time. “Leave.”

Su Yu felt humiliated, but she refrained herself from getting angry due to the unequal status between them. While she found it fun to stir up troubles, the man right now was obviously not in the mood. If she continued to make a scene, she might only put herself in an embarrassing situation as it was without his approval.

To be considered a flashy, cheap good, how could she not have the ability to observe people’s demeanor? 

She couldn’t afford to not be sensitive to the man’s words and expressions when she had this task.

She stomped her foot in frustration. “Fine. I’ll leave!”

As she walked to the door, she deliberately bumped into Shen Qingqing. Lifting her chin slightly, she seemed to look down at her with her seductive eyes. Just before she finally made her exit, she let out a contemptuous snort, making the latter glare even more fiercely at her.

Su Yu:【I know.】

Su Yu was fixing her hair in front of the mirror. “Whoever barks the loudest is the one.”

“Oh, by the way…” Su Yu smiled at her. “I heard that President Gu recently found the staff in his office too cumbersome and plans to streamline its operation by first dismissing some personnel in the secretary department. Why do you think will be dismissed? After all, men like to listen to the wind by their ears [6], don’t they?”

The person’s face suddenly turned pale.

Su Yu snorted and thought to herself, Did this person dare to challenge this Auntie [7]? This Auntie over here has eaten more salt than she has walked [8].

System:【Host, when did the male lead ever say he wanted to dismiss staff?】 

Su Yu:【 Oh, that? I lied to her.】

The timing was perfect as she arrived just when the female lead was just about to leave.

Shen Qingqing didn’t expect for the woman to be still outside, so she frowned. “Why are you still here?”

Su Yu thought to herself, I’m here to block you.

First glancing at the door that was opened with a gap, she cleared her throat and pretended to give a critical mocking look at Shen Qingqing. Her eyes were especially focused on the spot below the collarbone and above the stomach as she showed a disdainful attitude.

There was disgust in Shen Qingqing’s eyes. “What are you looking at?”

Su Yu smiled lightly: “There’s indeed nothing worth seeing. Little sister, what grade level are you on now this year?”

Shen Qingqing knew her own shortcomings; but this was the first time that she was mocked like this, so she was instantly stimulated to anger.

However, Su Yu’s next wave of provocation couldn’t be stopped as she continued to insult her: “President Gu said it himself that he preferred little sisters that feel good. Someone like you… it’s just tsk tsk tsk.”

Shen Qingqing had never seen such a shameless woman. She couldn’t believe someone would actually dare to bring up such a taboo matter in public.

Su Yu felt wronged: “How am I shameless? I was kind to inform you about President Gu’s preferences, and you still chose to insult me. Isn’t that too much?”

The last “hm” had a high pitch to it; and as she glanced around, it held a sultry gaze.

Even though Shen Qingqing abhorred her, she couldn’t help but admit that this woman indeed had the capability to seduce men.

“Su Yu, come in.”

Gu Yanqing’s voice, tinged with coldness, suddenly spoke out of nowhere, instantly interrupting their conversation, and one could vaguely sense the chill and irritation contained within the four short words.
