“What’s wrong?” As Manager Ding, who spent every day with Qian Zhiyuan, he immediately sensed something amiss, igniting his curiosity, “Don’t tell me you’ve already made advances and got rejected?!”

“Stop talking nonsense!” Qian Zhiyuan snapped, a hint of self-mockery in his eyes, “I know my place. A radiant peony like her is beyond my reach.”

“You mean?” Manager Ding’s frown deepened, his previous faint disapproval of Lin Mengting reignited by Qian Zhiyuan’s words.

“She’s aiming high?”

“Who knows?” Qian Zhiyuan replied casually but felt a surge of excitement.

—Did Manager Ding really have only these minor tricks up his sleeve?
