the evening. The sun sets, its orange-yellow glow casting a shadow over the sleeping Su Qingqing, curled up in a large recliner, clutching a half-read book.

Yu Xingye returns from a meeting and sees this scene. He unconsciously slows his breathing and silently walks over to Su Qingqing, his tall shadow completely obscuring her. He doesn’t even want the setting sun to linger over her for too long.

Su Qingqing clung to Yu Xingye’s shoulder, her entire body warmed by his warmth. She felt the gentle rise and fall of his footsteps, slowly awakening from her sleep.

Yu Xingye paused, pressing his heated lips to Su Qingqing’s neck, attempting to vent his surging love through their contacting skin.

“Xingxing, why don’t you turn on the light?”

Yu Xingye continued to walk forward and replied softly, “It’s dazzling.”

After that, he sat down in the office chair, put one hand in front of Su Qingqing’s eyes, and picked up the remote control with the other hand.

“Qingqing, close your eyes.”

Seeing that Su Qingqing closed her eyes obediently, Yu Xingye kissed her ear as a reward, and then pressed the remote control.

With a “ding”, the light came on.
