Su Qingqing had a very clear and specific future plan. She planned to pursue a master’s and doctoral degree at University A, ideally buying a house in one go. Therefore, the house needed to be close to University A, in a good neighborhood, and quiet and peaceful.

Initially, Su Qingqing planned to buy a large apartment so that she could easily visit Jiang Nian and the others. However, considering Yu Xingye’s germaphobia, Su Qingqing biasedly chose a detached villa.

‘Actually, the villas aren’t that far apart; walking a little more is good exercise,’

Su Qingqing consoled herself, and then comfortably dragged Yu Xingye to see the villas he had found.

Yu Xingye had looked at seven houses, two of which were large apartments, and the rest were all detached villas. This wasn’t due to his germaphobia, but rather because he didn’t want his friends to disturb their private time.

Su Qingqing was surprised when she heard this, but her rapidly working brain quickly understood what Yu Xingye meant.

Su Qingqing’s eyes instantly reddened, but she smiled.

Her charming fox-like eyes curved into a beautiful arc, glistening with tears, making her amber pupils even clearer. Yet, the alluring red at the corners of her eyes bewitched Yu Xingye, causing him to surrender completely.

Following his heart, Yu Xingye slowly lowered his head and kissed Su Qingqing’s eyes gently and repeatedly.

Light kisses landed on her eyelashes, the corners of her eyes, her cheeks, and the tip of her nose. Su Qingqing felt a deep sense of cherishing and affection from these kisses. She seemed unable to bear it and hugged Yu Xingye’s neck tightly, escaping into his embrace.

Yu Xingye chuckled softly, kissed the red birthmark behind Su Qingqing’s ear deeply, and felt the body in his arms tremble slightly. Only then did he kindly release his blushing darling, tightening his arms and deepening the embrace.

Su Qingqing remained in this position until the van stopped in front of the last villa. Yu Xingye pretended to carry her out of the car, but Su Qingqing quickly let go and opened the door.

Yu Xingye watched Su Qingqing’s back as she slowly got out of the car, then took her hand and walked forward.

There would be plenty of time; he would have another chance.

Seeing the driver’s ramrod straight figure beside the car, Su Qingqing immediately averted her gaze. She wondered if the partition could block the sound of Yu Xingye kissing her; it was all Yu Xingye’s fault for kissing her so hard at the end, making her too embarrassed to even look at the driver.

which was holding hers, in a fit of embarrassment and annoyance. Yu Xingye, assuming she had been teased too much in the car, smirked and placed his other hand in front of Su Qingqing.

Su Qingqing, angered, bit even harder.

Yu Xingye didn’t feel any pain; Su Qingqing’s bite sounded more like a playful tantrum to him. But afraid of upsetting her, he pretended to be hurt and hissed softly.

Su Qingqing didn’t care whether he was really in pain or not. She chuckled triumphantly, pulled Yu Xingye, and pushed open the villa’s gate.

Yu Xingye laughed out loud at her cuteness, his voice full of doting affection.

The moment Su Qingqing saw the yard, she had a premonition that this would be her future home.

The villa had a rather large courtyard; the front and back yards combined were almost three times the size of the villa itself.

It had three floors above ground and one below, each floor around 300 square meters—not huge, but more than enough for Su Qingqing.

Upon entering, she discovered that unlike the previous villas, which were move-in ready, this one was unfurnished. Su Qingqing

looked at Yu Xingye with some confusion.

Yu Xingye didn’t immediately answer her question, only smiling, “See if you like it.”

Su Qingqing became even more curious, but seeing Yu Xingye’s mysterious demeanor, she obediently went to see the house first.

Upon entering, she saw a glass wall directly opposite, the orange glow of the setting sun streaming into the room. Looking at this scene, Su Qingqing’s mind was filled with the comfort and ease of lying there basking in the sun.

Su Qingqing eagerly explored each floor, and after touring the entire villa, her face beamed with obvious joy.

Yu Xingye still wanted to confirm one last time: “You like it?”

Su Qingqing’s eyes sparkled as she stepped forward and hugged Yu Xingye.

“I like it.” To show how incredibly satisfied she was, Su Qingqing repeated, “I love it so much.”

Seeing her almost deliriously happy expression, Yu Xingye suddenly felt a pang of jealousy. He picked Su Qingqing up with one arm like a child, looking up into her eyes.

“Is the house better or am I better?”

Su Qingqing asked, both amused and exasperated, kissing Yu Xingye’s eyes: “You’re better, of course you’re better.”

Yu Xingye was satisfied. He carried her to the window and pointed to a small white dot in the distance.

“Your friends can stay there.”

Su Qingqing looked carefully for a long time before Yu Xingye explained that it was the roof of the villa closest to them.

Su Qingqing mentally praised the villa’s excellent privacy.

Then she kissed Yu Xingye’s eyes again, rewarding his thoughtfulness.

Yu Xingye was even more satisfied.

After Su Qingqing was put on the ground, she remembered the question that Yu Xingye hadn’t answered directly before. She asked curiously, “Why is this apartment a bare shell?”

Yu Xingye led her outside and took out the purchase contract from the car. He waited for Su Qingqing to sign it before answering, “This is a new development by Yu’s Group.”

Yu Xingye carefully put away the contract, noticing Su Qingqing’s surprised expression, and softly explained, “It hasn’t been sold to the public yet.”

As if remembering something, he smiled, revealing his canine teeth: “That house was specially prepared for me, but now it’s yours. How are you going to compensate me?”

Su Qingqing, lured by the canine tooth, couldn’t help but extend her finger. Yu Xingye didn’t stop her; instead, he slightly opened his mouth and gently rubbed her fingertip with his canine tooth.

The sharp touch brought Su Qingqing back to her senses. She pressed down slightly and laughed, “How about I save you a room?”

Yu Xingye felt the tickle spread from his canine tooth throughout his mouth. He narrowed his eyes, looking at the blush on Su Qingqing’s ears, and licked her fingertip: “Only one room?”

Su Qingqing quickly withdrew her hand, buried her face in Yu Xingye’s neck, and bit him, saying with a hint of annoyance, “I’ll give you half of the study at most.”

Yu Xingye let her vent her frustration, stroked Su Qingqing’s hair, and then replied with satisfaction, “Okay.”
