Six Ring Wizard - Chapter 305
Chapter 305: Vault Spells
Although Helag didn’t understand why Alice wanted him to open his communication stone, he obediently complied.
He accessed his contribution points interface and was surprised to find a new button labeled “Vault” next to his contribution points.
Helag had opened this interface many times before, and he was certain this button hadn’t been there, even after surpassing 300 contribution points.
Seeing his confusion, Alice explained, “This button only appears when you’re inside the vault. Go ahead and open it.”
Helag understood—it was a matter of the environment. The communication stone was more advanced than he had realized, likely with many hidden features he hadn’t unlocked yet.
He tapped the Vault button, and a new menu appeared.
“Spells, Potions, Potion Materials, Wizard Array Materials, Rule Power, Wizard Tools, Special Items…”
The menu offered a wide variety of categories, covering nearly every resource a wizard might need.
Helag casually clicked on the Spells category, and a list of spells appeared.
At the top, the title read: “Spells (300-600 Contribution Points).”
Helag quickly grasped the system—this was a tiered system, and at his current contribution level, he could only exchange for spells within the 300-600 point range.
Higher tiers would likely unlock more advanced spells as his contribution points increased.
“Life Bud: A plant-based first-level spell. Summons a bud that can envelop a person and rapidly heal their injuries.”
“Exchange Requirements: 50 Magic Stones and 5 Contribution Points.”
Helag noted that 50 magic stones for a first-level spell was quite cheap.
However, the additional 5 contribution points made the spell much more valuable—contribution points couldn’t be measured in the same way as magic stones.
Factoring in the value of contribution points, this spell might actually be more expensive than if it were purchased outside.
But Helag recognized that Life Bud was a rare spell, difficult to find in the outside world.
Helag quickly realized that the spells in the vault were rare and highly valuable.
Many of these spells were difficult to obtain, even with money.
For example, Life Bud was an essential healing spell for wizards who frequently faced danger.
Helag had read about Life Bud in some books. It could heal various injuries, including mental ones, and depending on the severity, the recovery time would vary, but it never took more than half an hour.
Except for extremely severe injuries, most wounds could be healed easily.
Without much hesitation, Helag clicked the exchange button for the spell.
A spell like this was always useful to have in reserve—it could come in handy in critical moments.
“That’s a good choice. Keep selecting, and let me know when you’re done. I’ll handle the rest,” Alice said, nodding approvingly as she watched Helag.
Helag continued browsing the spell list, planning to stock up on a few useful spells.
“Immovable Stone: A first-level earth spell. Strengthens the body using earth elemental particles, enhancing physical abilities.”
“Exchange Requirements: 50 Magic Stones and 5 Contribution Points.”
Helag liked the look of this spell—it suited his needs perfectly.
As a close-combat wizard, this spell would complement his fighting style.
“Water Skin: A first-level water spell. Covers the body with a layer of water skin, reducing physical impact damage and some spell damage.”
“Exchange Requirements: 70 Magic Stones and 10 Contribution Points.”
This was a rare water spell with a straightforward effect—damage reduction. It also fit Helag’s combat requirements.
More importantly, Water Skin could be learned by Reese as well.
Some items in the vault could be resold or taught to others, while others were strictly restricted and couldn’t be shared.
If someone was caught violating these restrictions, they would face severe punishment.
As a result, it wasn’t uncommon for people to offer high prices to Seranthiel members to exchange items from the vault.
Of course, only items that Seranthiel allowed to circulate outside could be exchanged.
Helag checked the spells and confirmed that most first-level spells could be resold or taught to others without strict restrictions.
“A plant spell, an earth spell, and a water spell. You’re choosing spells from different elements—are you sure about this?” Alice asked curiously.
Helag scratched the back of his head and smiled. “Some are for me, and some are for friends.”
“Oh, I see,” Alice nodded, as if understanding something.
Typically, wizards wouldn’t learn spells from multiple elements like Helag was doing, as learning spells required time and effort.
Focusing on spells within one’s specialized element was more efficient and valuable.
But Helag had the advantage of Deep Blue assisting his training, as well as his royal elf bloodline, which made him proficient in all elements.
Ever since he gained high magical affinity, he was no longer just a dark-element wizard.
Of course, it was best to keep a low profile about these things, so Helag didn’t mention it to others.
Even if people noticed that he was learning multi-element spells, they would likely just think he was wasting time and energy. No one would suspect he was proficient in all elements.
“Dark Gold Armor: A first-level metal spell. Covers the body with a layer of magical dark gold armor, significantly enhancing defense and physical strength.”
“Exchange Requirements: 100 Magic Stones and 20 Contribution Points.”
Helag’s finger froze as he scrolled through the list.
“A rare metal spell, and a highly practical one at that.”
Helag hadn’t expected to find a metal-element spell here.
Metal elemental particles existed, but corresponding spells were rare.
In the Wasteland, Helag had never encountered metal spells, and even in the Land of Dawn, this was the first time he had seen one.
Although Dark Gold Armor seemed similar to his Dark Armor, Helag had a different plan in mind.
He already had several body-enhancing spells.
Just as he had integrated multiple shield spells into his Absolute Defense, he believed he could do the same with his body-enhancing spells.
The spell model structure that Deep Blue had designed for Absolute Defense could likely be applied to body-enhancing spells as well.
This was why Helag had chosen several body-enhancing spells—he planned to experiment with them once he returned.
