Not Seeing a Doctor Means No Illness

In the dead of night, the two arrived at the hospital, looking somewhat disheveled. Fortunately, Qin Yun was familiar with the staff at this hospital, and the doctors were willing to provide her with resources.

Thus, Fang Zhou began his basic examinations at 11 PM and didn’t finish until around 2 AM.

At 7 AM, he started with blood tests and urine tests, and by the time he completed the last one, it was already noon the next day.

The doctor concluded, “Mr. Fang’s body is very healthy.”

Fang Zhou, however, was delighted. He jumped off the bed, clapping his hands in joy.

“Thank you, doctor! Can I be discharged now?”

The attending physician nodded, then shook his head, finally telling him.

“You can be discharged, but unexplained severe headaches carry some potential risks. I recommend staying for observation.”

As soon as he finished speaking, Fang Zhou strongly objected, waving his hands.

“No, no, no, I don’t need that! I’d rather go home!”

Fang Zhou was busy with work and his sister, with no time to waste in the hospital.

He didn’t even consider the doctor’s suggestion before rejecting it.

Qin Yun watched silently, not speaking up.

The attending physician glanced at Qin Yun, recognizing her, and seeing she didn’t speak, he stopped persuading.

“If you want to be discharged, you can do so by noon. But keep an eye on your condition and come back if anything seems off.”

“Come back for a follow-up in half a month.”

Fang Zhou readily agreed, grinning widely.

“Alright! Thank you, doctor. You’ve worked hard!”

Qin Yun took over the conversation.

“I’ll escort the doctor out. You pack your things.”

The two doctors left the room and returned to the physician’s office.

“Is there something you haven’t said?”

Qin Yun was direct, not beating around the bush.

The doctor’s expression grew serious, and he shared his concerns with Qin Yun.

“I think it might not be a physical issue but a psychological one due to excessive stress.”

“If possible, I suggest taking him to see a psychologist.”

“Qin Yun, you’re a doctor yourself. You should know about cases of hallucinations, auditory hallucinations, and paranoia caused by excessive mental stress.”

Doctors generally don’t tell patients this directly, fearing it might add psychological burden or cause resistance to seeing a psychologist.

Qin Yun’s expression was also grave.

She nodded lightly, indicating she understood.

“Got it. I’ll handle it. Thank you for today.”

“No problem. We’re alumni, after all.”

Qin Yun bid farewell to the doctor, still pondering as she left the office. Could it be that her previous image in Fang Zhou’s mind was so bad that it caused him to have a stress reaction?

“So, I’d rather go home and sleep!”

Fang Zhou laughed, wrapping his arm around Qin Yun as they headed out.
