My Good Disciple
The sun’s first rays pierced through the misty clouds, casting a thousand beams of auspicious light across the Purple Ridge Arc Moon Mountain.
Two figures walked through the forest, descending the mountain. Even the snakes, scorpions, lions, and tigers in the woods avoided them.
As they reached the foot of the mountain, a ten-year-old girl dressed in a moon-white gown, with a long sword on her back and a colorful gourd hanging from her waist, blinked her mischievous, large eyes and said to the man beside her, “Master, you can send me off here.”
The man, dressed in a simple green robe, was strikingly handsome, almost otherworldly. His face had a hint of wickedness and arrogance, but his aura was refined, and his every movement exuded an effortless grace.
Qin Gou gave the girl a deep look and said sternly, “Mu Man’er, remember to act righteously after you leave the mountain. Be a good person. Do not follow in the footsteps of your senior brothers and sisters, or you will bring shame to your master.”
Mu Man’er nodded vigorously, her innocent eyes twinkling like a small animal’s, and replied in a childish voice, “I will follow your teachings, Master. Don’t worry, didn’t you always say I’m the most obedient of all your disciples? Man’er would never do anything bad out there.”
Qin Gou’s expression softened, and he smiled gently. “Just a reminder. You’ve always been well-behaved and kind-hearted. After all, I’ve watched you grow up, so I trust you.”
“Of course! Man’er is Master’s little sweetheart!” Mu Man’er beamed, revealing two adorable little tiger teeth.
“Go on. You’ve been on the mountain for years; your family must miss you dearly. Make sure to cherish this three-month home visit.” Qin Gou chuckled, patting her cute little head.
“But… Master, we haven’t done that yet,” Mu Man’er hesitated, fidgeting with her small hands.
“That?”
“The thing we always do!”
Qin Gou laughed, bending down slowly. Mu Man’er stood on her tiptoes and planted a kiss on Qin Gou’s handsome cheek. Only then did she grin happily, skipping back a few steps.
“Goodbye, Master! Man’er is leaving now.”
“Take the time to explore the world and broaden your horizons.”
“No way! Man’er loves Master the most! I’ll come back soon to keep you company.”
Qin Gou stood there, watching Mu Man’er’s retreating figure with a doting smile.

One month later.
Qin Gou sat under a spiritual tree, sipping fragrant tea while reading the monthly journal Records of Major Events in the Cultivation World, which he had retrieved from a celestial crane.
However, as he reached the section titled “Tales of Heroes,” his eyes widened in disbelief at the clear description before him.
It read: The mysterious swordswoman Mu Man’er single-handedly defeated several experts in the Hidden Artifact Realm and stole a birthday tribute worth tens of thousands of spirit stones, inciting the wrath of the Tian Kun Dynasty. Mu Man’er has now ranked seventh on the cultivation world’s Most Wanted Blacklist, under the title of Evil Sword Fairy.
“Pfft!”
Qin Gou spat out his tea, crushing the journal in his hand into powder as he cursed, “That little brat!”
He had been in this world for a thousand years and had only ever taken on six disciples. He had given each of them the utmost care, showering them with endless spirit stones, techniques, and even imperial weapons that could stir up chaos in the cultivation world.
But who could have predicted that every one of these disciples, who acted like obedient little lambs in front of him, would turn into notorious villains or fearsome demon lords the moment they left the mountain?
His first disciple, Zhao Xinting, was once a delicate boy who would cry if a street thug stripped him of his clothes. Now, he was the terrifying leader of the Purple Extreme Demon Sect, whose mere name struck fear into the hearts of all. The Tian Kun Dynasty that Mu Man’er had just crossed? To him, it was nothing more than a speck of dust.
His second disciple, Ye Qishuang, had once been a pure-hearted, gentle beauty. Now, she was the founder of the Yin-Yang Cultivation technique, the Grandmaster of the Xuan Nu Rakshasa Palace, feared by all in the cultivation world. Her palace was filled with countless stunning demonesses, who had drained the life force of many innocent young cultivators.
His third disciple, Kong Ling, was a girl with an impeccable background—or so he thought. It turned out she was the reincarnation of the Demon Clan’s Princess, and at the age of twenty, her memories awakened, and she returned to the Abyss of the Demon Clan.
His fourth disciple, Qiu Qianyue, had disappeared, but not before kidnapping the precious daughters of the heads of the Ten Great Sects, including the Sword Inquiry Sect and the Eternal Darkness Holy Land.
The fifth…
And now the sixth, Mu Man’er, that little troublemaker! That damn sweet little darling!
What had she promised him back then? To be a good person, to uphold justice. And now, not even a month after leaving the mountain, she had robbed the Tian Kun Dynasty’s birthday tribute and earned herself a spot on the Blacklist as the Evil Sword Fairy. She had become corrupt faster than any of her senior brothers or sisters!
At least Zhao Xinting, Ye Qishuang, and Qiu Qianyue had the decency to occasionally return to Arc Moon Mountain and pretend to be good disciples in front of him—until he caught them red-handed in their misdeeds. After that, they didn’t dare come back.
If that little brat dared to return, he would spank her until her butt was swollen!
“Ding!”
A cold, emotionless system notification rang out: “Congratulations, Host. You have successfully trained six highly talented disciples, completing the ultimate task. Reward: A mortal body. Unlocking the qualification to leave Arc Moon Mountain.”
The word “graduation” caught Qin Gou’s attention, and he didn’t even bother listening to the rest of the system’s message. He clenched his teeth and roared, “Graduation? What do you mean, Mu Man’er has graduated? Does that mean she’s never coming back? Damn it, this is infuriating!”
As he raged, Qin Gou’s body, which had been formed from his magical power, began to fade and eventually disappeared entirely.
In a temple ten meters away, a stone statue of Qin Gou cracked open, revealing a white, naked body identical to his previous form.
Qin Gou stood up, flexing his new body. At first, he was pleasantly surprised, but then he frowned. “What’s going on? Why is this body so weak?”
“Ding. Congratulations, Host. The ‘Master Teacher’ system has evolved into the ‘Justice Prevails’ system.”
“Congratulations, my ass! Explain why this body is so weak!”
“Since the Host has completed the final task of the ‘Master Teacher’ system, you have been rewarded with a body that can freely walk the world. If the Host remains on Arc Moon Mountain, you will still be able to wield your former power.”
“So, as long as I stay on the mountain, I’m still the all-powerful master. But the moment I step outside, I become a weakling who can’t even fight a chicken?”
“The Host can use the new ‘Justice Prevails’ system to quickly enhance your abilities.”
Hearing this, Qin Gou nodded and had the system pull up the menu.
Host: Qin Gou
Bloodline: Human
Talent: Four-element low grade
Special Physique: None
Merit Points: 0
Techniques: None
Available Options: Lottery, Shop, Technique Imbuement
Qin Gou tried the lottery but found he had no spins. He then checked the shop, and a vast array of items appeared in his mind.
“What? This new system not only allows me to exchange for techniques, weapons, and pills, but I can also exchange for rare items, bloodlines, special physiques, and even life-bound spiritual tools and life-bound avatars?!”
Names like Destiny Sword, Defeated Blade, Fate Manipulation Gloves, Dark Night Evil Sovereign Avatar, Ultra-Holy Great Ming King Avatar, and Nightmare Celestial Master Avatar filled his vision, leaving Qin Gou utterly stunned.
There were even more powerful items and avatars that he had never heard of.
“System, if I cultivate my own life-bound avatar and then exchange for another one, does that mean I’ll have two avatars?”
“The Host can possess multiple life-bound spiritual tools and avatars, just like the Multitool Sacred Physique, with no limitations.”
“Awesome.”
For the first time, Qin Gou found the system’s emotionless mechanical voice pleasant to the ears. He opened the technique exchange page, and once again, he was shocked. “What the hell is Eight-Nine Mystical Arts? What about Nine Lives Longevity Method and Ten Thousand Ghosts Nightwalk Technique? The Heavenly Path Technique I taught my first disciple Zhao Xinting is only ranked 37th?! Are you kidding me, system?”
“Everything the Host sees is real. There is no need to doubt yourself.”
“Then hurry up and tell me how to earn those so-called merit points!” Qin Gou was drooling over the powerful techniques, spiritual tools, and avatars, but they were all ridiculously expensive.
“Ding. New tasks issued.”
“Task 1: Uphold justice by defeating ten evil cultivators. Reward: 100 merit points, one ‘Perfect Disguise Talisman.’ Time limit: Five days. No penalty for failure.”
“Task 2: Discipline the evildoer by finding Mu Man’er and spanking her butt one hundred times. Reward: Special Physique ‘Enlightened Dao Body,’ 1000 merit points, one lottery spin. Time limit: Thirty days. Failure will result in the Host losing all body hair, which will never grow back.”
