The Benevolent Gu Feiyan
“Uh…” The Purple Extreme Demon Sect disciple stammered, unable to speak as Sect Master Zhao Xinting stood confidently, his demeanor grand and imposing, though his expression grew more troubled.
Zhao Xinting glanced at the disciple, asking sternly, “Do you have more to say?”
The disciple trembled slightly, stammering, “Three days ago, the Demon Master appeared in Gu Yue City, Chuzhou, and was offended by local ruffians. He then summoned the Divine Feather Avatar, shaking the land…”
“What?”
Zhao Xinting furrowed his brow, pondering. “How is that possible? Could it be that Master wasn’t forced into the Mortal Transformation Phase due to an impending breakthrough to the Avatar Realm? Otherwise, he should be bound by many restrictions, unable to exert his full power. This is troubling.”
His body trembled slightly, but Zhao Xinting remained composed, his calm demeanor unshaken by the news, befitting a leader of the demonic path.
The white-haired Left Protector, expressionless, said, “Prepare a new pair of pants, no, two.”
“Understood!” The Right Protector, accustomed to such events, nodded and left the hall.
The disciple, however, was bewildered. What was the Mortal Transformation Phase? As a low-level cultivator, he had no access to such secrets.
“Truly worthy of being my master’s teacher, always unpredictable,” Zhao Xinting mused, a radiant smile gracing his lips. “Since Master hesitates, let me take the first step.”
“Sect Master!”
The Left Protector’s eyes widened in disbelief.
Zhao Xinting, hands behind his back, gazed into the distance. “Announce to the world that I am entering seclusion in the Bone Grave.”
“Sect Master, you intend to…”
“Indeed.”
Zhao Xinting, confident, smirked. “I’ll publicly retreat for cultivation, but in truth, I’ll prepare to enter the Mortal Transformation Phase, sealing my powers and living among commoners. Once I gather enough faith, with people building temples and casting golden statues in my honor, I’ll break the final barrier to the Avatar Realm, becoming invincible!”
“Then, even my old master won’t dare to challenge me!”

In the Jin Dui Mountains of Chuzhou, the Seed Demon Holy Sect resided.
Under the guidance of the black-robed elder, Qin Gou was subjected to a series of questions under a truth-seeking spell to ensure he wasn’t an infiltrator.
He answered truthfully about his background, cultivation, and real name. For “origin,” he simply said “Ziling, Chuzhou,” as Arc Moon Mountain was indeed within the Ziling area.
After the procedures, the elder allowed Qin Gou to explore the sect and familiarize himself with the new environment, while he himself headed to the main hall of the Seed Demon Holy Sect.
Meanwhile, the still-unconscious Chen Keshai was taken away by another group of sect members. Who knew if he’d regret joining Qin Gou once he awoke?
In half an hour, Qin Gou witnessed the sect’s fierce culture, with disciples frequently engaging in public duels, often resulting in severe injuries or worse.
The patrolling sect members seemed indifferent, turning a blind eye to the violence.
Ahead, a large group of disciples gathered, exclaiming in surprise. Curious, Qin Gou approached to see what was happening.
A young male disciple in purple knelt on one knee, blocking a woman’s path.
The woman was stunning, with long, silky black hair and a tight-fitting black outfit that accentuated her curvaceous figure. Her long, shapely legs were encased in exotic black silk stockings, adding to her allure.
Her natural beauty and grace were captivating, every smile and gesture enchanting.
“Sister Gu, I, Yang Buchu, am willing to serve you loyally, just to be by your side,” the young disciple declared, his gaze fixed on her alluring legs.
Hearing this, Qin Gou raised an eyebrow. Sister Gu? Could this enchanting woman be his mission’s target—Gu Feiyan?
Gu Feiyan ignored him, continuing her graceful walk, not sparing him a glance.
Yang Buchu, panicking, moved closer, shouting, “Sister Gu, I admire you sincerely, not for your resources! I ask for nothing, only to ride with you one day and see the world!”
Gu Feiyan remained unmoved, her expression cold and indifferent.
“If Sister Gu doesn’t agree, I’ll kneel here forever! Can you bear that?” Yang Buchu pleaded, eyes on her perfect figure.
At that moment, Gu Feiyan swiftly drew a whip from her waist, lashing out with a sharp crack.
The whip struck Yang Buchu’s face, sending him tumbling, a bloody welt left behind.
Yang Buchu clutched his face, crying out in pain.
Gu Feiyan’s lips curled into a dangerous smile, beautiful yet deadly.
“Who dares block my path?”
“If you like kneeling, stay here. No food or drink for three months. Survive, and you can be my dog.”
With that, Gu Feiyan walked away.
Sect members forced Yang Buchu to kneel, his sobs echoing.
“Thank you, Sister Gu, for your mercy! You’re truly a good person, inside and out.”
