“Greetings, Lady Duanmu,” Gu Feiyan said, bowing slightly to Duanmu Shuiyu. Her tone was polite, but devoid of any real respect.

Besides, my cave is right here. Why not come to my place instead? We can chat as much as you’d like!” Qin Gou said, placing a fist over his chest in a display of righteousness. He extended his other hand toward Gu Feiyan in a formal invitation.

Flustered but unwilling to lose face, Gu Feiyan reluctantly placed her soft, delicate hand in his.

Qin Gou, grinning triumphantly, gestured gallantly. “Please.”
