Little Qin and Little Yan
“Senior Sister Gu, I warn you, stop calling me ‘smart dog.’ That’s not a pleasant nickname,” Qin Gou said, visibly annoyed.
Gu Feiyan shrugged with a playful smile. “Fine. I’ll call you Little Qin then.”
Qin Gou chuckled, amused by her antics. “Alright, Little Yan.”
“What did you just call me?” Gu Feiyan’s face turned red with anger, her voice rising indignantly.
“Little Qin is calling you Little Yan,” Qin Gou replied nonchalantly, crossing his arms.
“You’re so bold!” Gu Feiyan shouted, both embarrassed and furious. “Little Yan” was her childhood nickname, one that Shen Tianyin had foolishly used a few days ago. Now, hearing Qin Gou say it so casually made her feel deeply annoyed.
Qin Gou, unfazed, teased, “What? Is Little Yan planning to whip me? Is this how you treat your loyal subordinates?”
“I won’t whip you,” Gu Feiyan said through gritted teeth, clearly irritated. “Go ahead, keep calling me that. Just make sure you don’t chicken out in front of the Sect Master. Let everyone see how much I cherish my subordinates.”
“Gladly, Little Yan,” Qin Gou said with a mischievous grin, spreading his hands.
“Little Qin, paint for me!”
“Of course, Brother Qin is here,” Qin Gou replied smoothly. (tln : he said Qin-Gege, its like Dear Older brother)
“Brother Qin? You… you’re shameless!” Gu Feiyan stammered, both flustered and angry. This “chubby enthusiast” really had no boundaries, always pushing his luck with her.
“But my surname is Qin,” Qin Gou said innocently.
Gu Feiyan’s face turned beet red, her embarrassment reaching its peak.

Qin Gou focused on his canvas, his brush moving swiftly. Gu Feiyan sat elegantly on a chair, her demeanor cold yet graceful.
The atmosphere was calm.
Both of them shared a similar thought: the other was far more tolerable when they weren’t speaking.
Gu Feiyan was delighted when she received her portrait. The painting captured her beauty perfectly, depicting a stunning, ethereal young woman.
Standing behind Qin Gou, she watched as he painted a vase in front of him. She carefully observed the sketching technique, marveling at its unique charm, before finally feeling satisfied.

Outside the Cave.
Led by Chen Keshai, Shen Tianyin and the others cautiously approached Qin Gou’s cave.
Thanks to Chen Keshai’s explanation, they learned that Qin Gou had received special treatment from the sect, allowing him to reside near esteemed elders. This revelation made them tread carefully, fearing they might accidentally offend someone important.
They arrived just in time to see Qin Gou bidding farewell to Gu Feiyan. She held her portrait tightly, a rare, genuine smile of happiness gracing her face—a sight that could melt hearts.
Shen Tianyin’s expression darkened immediately, and he tried to rush forward. However, Cao Yilin and the others quickly restrained him, covering his mouth.
They hadn’t forgotten Gu Feiyan’s earlier threat: if Shen Tianyin offended her again, he wouldn’t live to see another day.
Once Gu Feiyan was out of sight, Shen Tianyin finally broke free from their grasp. He stormed up to Qin Gou, his voice hysterical. “Qin Gou! What did you do to my Yan’er?!”
Qin Gou was momentarily stunned but then replied calmly, “Senior Sister Gu invited me to work under her, and I agreed.”
“Is that true? You didn’t do anything inappropriate to her?” Shen Tianyin demanded, his tone sharp.
Qin Gou shook his head, finding the accusation ridiculous. “You know Senior Sister Gu’s cultivation level better than anyone. What could I possibly do to her? Do you think I’m capable of such a thing?”
“I see,” Shen Tianyin said, finally calming down. His anger dissipated as quickly as it had flared.
The others quickly chimed in, trying to diffuse the tension. “Brother Shen, you misunderstood Brother Qin.”
Shen Tianyin frowned but nodded. “It seems I did. Brother Qin, I apologize.”
“No harm done,” Qin Gou replied.
“We originally came to congratulate you on becoming an inner disciple, but this misunderstanding ruined the mood,” Shen Tianyin said, scratching his head awkwardly. “Still, I suppose this makes us even closer now. That’s something to celebrate.”
“Closer?” The others were confused, unsure of what Shen Tianyin meant.
“Exactly,” Shen Tianyin said with a smug smile. “Now that Brother Qin is working for Yan’er, and Yan’er will eventually forgive me and become my Dao companion, doesn’t that make Brother Qin my subordinate as well? Life truly is full of surprises. Brother Qin, once our leader, has now become my subordinate. How amusing!”
The group collectively looked down at their feet, trying to hide their expressions. This guy is seriously delusional.
Gu Feiyan truly was a woman who brought nothing but trouble.

Meanwhile, in Gu Yue City, Chuzhou.
With her short, neat hair and jade-like complexion, Qiu Qianyue smiled brightly as she purchased a beautifully bound booklet from a cultivator.
“The most dangerous place is the safest. As soon as Master left, I followed right behind. This guarantees he won’t catch me,” Qiu Qianyue said, her crescent-shaped eyes sparkling mischievously. She looked like a sly fox.
Hidden within the spatial belt around her slender waist were ten stunning beauties, each with their own unique charm. To avoid drawing attention, she had concealed them in the small dimension created by the fragrant belt—a rare treasure gifted to her by her revered yet fearsome master, Qin Gou.
Unlike spatial rings or storage bags, which couldn’t store living beings, this belt was a priceless artifact.
“Hehe, let’s see how many irresistible cuties Chuzhou has to offer,” Qiu Qianyue said, her delicate face showing a mix of amusement and mischief.
The booklet in her hands was titled The Chuzhou Fairy Rankings, a compilation created by like-minded cultivators. It featured over a dozen young, beautiful female cultivators, each accompanied by a lifelike portrait. None of them were ordinary or plain.
The booklet was considered a must-have for the leisure-loving, flirtatious cultivators of Chuzhou—a veritable holy grail.
“‘Fairy Lyu Ningqing’? She’s cute, but her hips are too small. Not my type. Hmm? ‘Enchantress Gu Feiyan’! Now this is good. That figure, that charm, that aura! I…”
Qiu Qianyue’s eyes sparkled with excitement. “This might sound inappropriate, but I really want to… lick her.”
