Despites appearances this chapter teaches us a very important lesson, DON’T ASSUME THINGS.
This dude is thinking he the even the goddess is talking about is the same event he is thinking about. That’s awfully bad. It could be any event not onnly that one.
Also, storage is truly a convenient skill. So there is no way the rest of your party members will let you go unless they can replace you with someone equal or better. Or you do things that put them off at the max.

Well, there are other reasons for banishment but this normally the most frecuent.
