- Chapter 35 - Not Quite Getting It
Not Quite Getting It
By the way, I’m the one who put the collar on her again today, but this time it seems a leash is unnecessary.
According to Reika, she’s in a ‘cat’ mood today.
She’s a very busy person, being a dog one minute and a cat the next.
Whether she’s acting like a dog or a cat, she still rubs her body against mine though.
In the case of a dog, she’ll at least listen to my commands, whereas a cat, she doesn’t listen at all and spends the day doing whatever she pleases.
That said, she basically sticks to me until it’s time to go home.
This is tough in its own way (although rewarding in another), so sometimes I think being a dog is better.
But then as a dog, I have to pretend to take her for a walk (I received that task from line yesterday), so it’s hard to say which is better.
The best thing would be for her to stop pretending to be a pet, but I can’t casually mention this without knowing how Reika would react.
Worst-case scenario, she could reveal at school that she’s my girlfriend, which would ruin my life.
I wonder if it’s okay for a pet to be higher in the hierarchy than their Master.
As for Reika, she’s still busy rubbing her body against my chest.
The scent emanating from Reika’s head is almost making me dizzy.
That would be fine on its own, but rubbing her body against me obviously means not just her soft body but also her bre*sts assert their presence, and this is seriously dangerous.
My junior, whom I had managed to calm down, looked like it might wake up again.
“So, do you still think Tojo Keisuke is better than me, Master? Huh, what do you think? Would you rather be close to Tojo Keisuke than your pet Reika?”
“No, like I said, I don’t even get why Keisuke is coming up in this conversation. Why are you so jealous of him?”
“Because… when I see you two getting along so well from a distance, I get so jealous and my chest tightens with anxiety. If you think that I’m more important to you than Tojo Keisuke, could you at least consider my feelings and stop being lovey-dovey with him in the classroom?”
Reika says this, looking up at me with dissatisfaction.
To be honest, I don’t feel like I’ve been lovey-dovey with Keisuke, so I’m not quite getting her point.
