Chapter 12 – 【Hold me to sleep】

Fortunately, even though Lin Wan was drunk, he was still able to take care of himself. He got out of the car by himself, took the elevator by himself, walked to the door of the room by himself, and swiped the card to open the door accurately.

It was already past one o’clock when Zhu Chizhou came out of the shower. Wearing his pajamas, he went to the small living room outside to find a mobile phone charger.

The nightgown was half open, revealing the muscles from the chest to the abdomen.

He couldn’t find the charger, but he heard someone ringing the doorbell of the next room. The ringtone was particularly clear in the quiet corridor.

Zhu Chizhou walked to the door and heard a “click” sound, and the door of the next room opened.

The waiter said, “Sir, here is the ice you requested.”

The other party replied: “Thank you.”

It was Lin Wan’s voice.

It’s past one in the morning. What do you want ice for? Champagne?

Zhu Chizhou opened the door and went out, just in time to see the waiter pushing a cart with three large buckets of ice cubes on it, and Lin Wan also had another bucket in his hand.

“What are you doing?” Zhu Chizhou walked over and asked.

“You…” Zhu Chizhou paused when he walked into the bathroom. He saw that the bathtub was half filled with cold water, and now Lin Wan was pouring ice cubes into the cold water.

Zhu Chizhou thought Lin Wan was just being drunk and mad, “You want to take a bath with this?”

Lin Wan didn’t answer, but brought in a bucket of ice and poured it into the bathtub.

There were four buckets in total, and he poured all of them in. The ice cubes floated on the water and covered the entire bathtub.

“Go out,” Lin Wan said to Zhu Chizhou, “I want to take a shower.”

“You’re not taking a shower. You’re looking for death.” Zhu Chizhou looked at him with a rare serious expression, “You’re soaking in ice water after just drinking. Your heart won’t be able to handle it.”

Lin Wan stopped talking and stood under the ceiling light in the bathroom, confronting Zhu Chizhou.

He was not wearing glasses, and the sealed vitality began to show again.

The dark-patterned mulberry silk pajamas made his skin look whiter than snow. His collar was open, revealing his graceful collarbone. The overhead light shone on his face, making his facial features more delicate and three-dimensional.

Lin Wan looked at Zhu Chizhou and blinked innocently.

There was a rustling noise beside the bed, and the drunkard actually got up from the bed, put on his slippers and walked towards the bathroom.
