Tokyo's Most Affectionate - Chapter 18
Bad Boy
“The couch is so small, and you’re so tall; you won’t fit. Later, you sleep on the bed, and I’ll take the couch,” Ichinose decisively shook her head, making the decision.
In her eyes, Kurosawa had already done her a huge favor today.
Whether it was giving her face, pretending to be her boyfriend, shining brightly at the karaoke, sparing her from any punishment, or covering today’s expenses without expecting reimbursement—all these favors weighed heavily on her.
She couldn’t allow Kurosawa to sleep on an undersized couch.
“Letting a beauty sleep on the couch is not my style… I’ll sleep on the floor; it’s spacious, and there’s a carpet,” Kurosawa also had his reasons and, after some thought, shifted his gaze to the floor.
“The carpet is so dirty,” Ichinose, standing on the floor, looked down and immediately commented.
“You’re saying that, but the hotel’s cleaning staff won’t be pleased,” Kurosawa teased.
“It’s really dirty, even if the cleaning staff cleans it every day, it’s not clean enough.”
Ichinose remained firm in her opinion.
A carpet was still a carpet, stepped on by people.
“What should we do then? I really don’t want you to sleep on the couch,” Kurosawa, seeing her resolute attitude, was at a loss.
“Then let’s sleep on the bed together…” Ichinose couldn’t come up with a better solution and could only suggest that.
After that, she felt something was wrong, so she raised a finger and added, “By the way, you can’t misbehave.”
“Well, there’s a book that says when a girl says no, she actually means yes,” Kurosawa replied, leaning against the sofa.
“What kind of naughty book are you reading?” Ichinose could guess what book he was referring to.
Blushing slightly, she said firmly, “Anyway, when I say no, I mean no.”
“Okay,” Kurosawa nodded, deciding not to tease her further.
“Before going to bed, we need to take a shower. Who should go first?” Ichinose thought of another issue after settling the sleeping arrangements.
“You go ahead. I didn’t bring a change of clothes, so I won’t shower,” Kurosawa shook his head without much thought.
That was indeed what he had in mind at the beginning. Although he had agreed to rent a room, everything was still undecided at that point.
“You didn’t bring any?” Ichinose asked.
“Guys are different from girls. We rarely carry bags when going out. I was thinking about the possibility of slipping back home tonight… but now I have to stay here. So, I need to wake up early tomorrow,” Kurosawa explained.
“Why do you need to wake up early?”
“I have to go home to change clothes. I can’t go to school in these fashionable and rebellious clothes,” Kurosawa tugged at his clothes and explained.
He had always been a model student at school, and wearing such stylish and unconventional clothes might cause quite a stir.
“That makes sense…” Ichinose thought about it and agreed.
With that outfit, entering the school would be a problem.
“I’ll go take a shower. No peeking, okay?” Ichinose stood up, took a few steps forward, and turned back to warn.
“I’ll wait in the corridor.”
Kurosawa was straightforward in response to the warning. He stood up, hands in his pockets, and walked forward.
“Why go to the corridor?”
As he walked beside her, Ichinose asked in confusion.
Kurosawa tilted his head slightly, looking at Ichinose seriously.
“With such a beauty taking a shower, I’m afraid I won’t be able to resist.”
His attitude and gaze made Ichinose uneasy, but she still had concerns.
“What if someone else sees you?”
“I’ll say I went out to buy something.”
“Even if you say you’re buying something, it’s easy to arouse suspicion.”
“I’ll say I’m buying a specific brand of condoms. I’m not used to other brands.” Kurosawa thought of a clever excuse and continued to walk out.
But before he could take a few steps, his clothes were pulled.
Turning around, he saw Ichinose holding onto the hem of his clothes, whispering, “You don’t need to go to such lengths. Just stay in the room.”
Kurosawa teased her when he saw her lowering her head.
“Aren’t you afraid I’ll peek?”
“Bad boy!”
Seeing his smiling and mischievous look, Ichinose rolled her eyes, stomped her foot coquettishly, and then ran past him.
As she passed by, Kurosawa saw her side profile, blushing all over.
This fleeting side view left Kurosawa momentarily stunned.
In a moment of realization, he recalled a novel from his past life.
“In this world, there are few true words. A woman’s blush surpasses a long dialogue.” – Lao She
Kurosawa didn’t possess mind-reading abilities, so he didn’t know what Ichinose’s true thoughts were.
However, what could be affirmed was that the blushing reaction, the meaning it conveyed, made hearts race and sparked illicit thoughts.
Lost in thought for a while, as the sound of water dripping from the bathroom reached his ears, Kurosawa finally snapped out of it.
Setting aside the distracting thoughts, he returned to the sofa, took out his phone, and skillfully opened an app. With a swipe of his finger, he navigated to a familiar contact—his ex-girlfriend, Akari Tsumugi.
Having known each other for a month and dated for half a month, the girlfriend who had filled his nights with longing had dumped him.
Saying there was no resentment would be impossible.
However, his resentment was not extensive. After all, the breakup with this ex-girlfriend wasn’t due to any mistake on his part.
Rather, this relationship was flawed from the beginning, purely a case of him being treated as inferior from the beginning.
“You’ve lost out big time.”
After a deep gaze, Kurosawa’s fingers moved, and muttering to himself, he ultimately deleted the friend.
With that matter settled, Kurosawa put down his phone and let his gaze roam, surveying the room.
It was his first time in a love hotel… In his past life, he had booked hotel rooms before, but the neon-lit, themed couples’ room was quite unique.
At that moment, he noticed a wardrobe.
This discovery prompted him to stand up, walk towards it, and attempt to verify a suspicion.
Soon, he reached the wardrobe and opened it directly.
“Well, well.”
Upon opening it, the dazzling array of clothes dazzled Kurosawa.
Based on the anime he had watched before, neon-themed love hotels had a variety of cosplay outfits.
Having never had the chance to verify it before, now that it was right in front of him, he naturally wanted to take a look.
As it turned out, the anime plotlines hadn’t deceived him.
Nurse outfits, bunny girls, teacher OL uniforms, sailor suits, flight attendants, school uniforms, catgirl costumes, foxgirl costumes, succubi, leather outfits… there were even various anime costumes.
These outfits were not only alluring but also lightweight.
With so many women’s clothing options in front of him, Kurosawa couldn’t help but pick up a foxgirl ensemble.
“Is the tail like this? It feels quite nice in my hands.”
Holding it, Kurosawa turned it around, muttering to himself.
The foxgirl’s tail, seemingly extending from under the skirt, evoked imaginative thoughts, but in reality, it was a pendant sewn inside the skirt, not an accessory.
At that moment, the bathroom door gently opened, and Ichinose walked out.
