Tokyo's Most Affectionate - Chapter 41
Children’s Playground?
Entering the amusement park, the three of them walked together, beginning their search for attractions to enjoy.
According to Kurosawa’s strategy research, the adult one-day pass they purchased allowed unlimited access to all facilities except the most famous signature haunted house.
“We’ve arrived; let’s have some fun here first.”
Not long after, Kurosawa led them to the front of a building.
“We’re here?” Ninomiya, holding an umbrella, looked up at the building in front of her with some surprise.
She originally thought they were going to a haunted house, but what was the deal with this cute building?
Around them were many people, mostly combinations of adults and children, clearly families out for fun.
“A children’s playground?” Itsuragi also looked dumbfounded.
“This amusement park has few indoor facilities. The large outdoor attractions like the free fall ride and roller coasters dominate,” Kurosawa nodded, explaining.
Hearing this, the two women turned their heads to look into the distance.
One massive facility after another stood above the ground, and even from a distance, they could feel the funds burning for these grand structures.
“Let’s warm up here first; we have plenty of time. Let’s take it slow,” Kurosawa laughed, spreading his hands.
Warm-up… Is he trying to get me used to this casual atmosphere, lower my guard, and then take me to the haunted house?
Ninomiya pondered the thoughts behind his words.
Smart communication involves not only listening to what someone says but also observing their actions and understanding the intentions behind their words.
“Then let’s start from here.”
Although she was silently contemplating, Ninomiya still nodded.
Every building in the amusement park was uniquely crafted and carefully designed.
While Fuji-Q Highland’s creed might be to create the most thrilling adult playground, they hadn’t neglected the children either.
Entering the indoor area, they put away their umbrellas and strolled around.
The first prominent attraction that caught their eyes was the ball pool obstacle course—a space filled with various soft toys, accompanied by nets, poles, hanging rings, and slides.
Though it was only 10 a.m., dozens of children were already playing inside, with parents and staff members watching nearby.
Kurosawa glanced around, then turned to the two women, seeking their opinions.
“Pass.”
Ninomiya decisively shook her head and waved her hand.
What a joke! She was a university teacher, and a female Ph.D. at that—how could she possibly engage in this kind of educational and playful activity?
The most unbearable part was being watched by so many people; she couldn’t stand it.
The second attraction was the Building Block Paradise, nothing particularly extraordinary, just an area constructed from building blocks.
Judging by the children playing, this facility seemed even more geared towards a younger age group than the ball pool obstacle course.
The third attraction was an indoor climbing area, designed in a cute and childlike manner, resembling a cartoon world, with similar results.
The fourth attraction was a super-sized trampoline, where some young men and women, as well as couples, could be seen playing.
Surprisingly, in the children’s amusement park, this facility had not attracted many children.
The way couples played was straightforward, and there was a couple demonstrating it.
The girl lay on the trampoline, and the boy bounced until the elasticity launched the girl into the air. The boy then caught her mid-air with a princess carry.
Upon witnessing the princess carry demonstration, Ninomiya immediately wanted to decline.
“Let’s do this one; it’s finally something we can do,” but before she could speak up, Itsuragi had already taken the lead.
“Sure,” Ninomiya agreed, seeing Itsuragi so enthusiastic and not wanting to dampen her spirits.
“Let’s go.” With her approval, the two tickets were presented, and Itsuragi immediately rushed inside.
“I won’t do that kind of thing,” Ninomiya followed their steps and, when she walked beside Kurosawa, whispered.
“What kind?” Kurosawa pretended not to understand.
“Don’t play dumb,” Ninomiya rolled her eyes at him.
What she referred to was, of course, the princess carry that happened between couples or individuals with mutual affection.
Before entering the super trampoline park, you had to take off your shoes at the entrance.
Ninomiya sat on a small stool, lifting one leg to take off her shoe.
She was wearing high heels, without socks. With a gentle lift, her beautiful foot slid out from the high heel. Although she wore black stockings at school for a neat appearance, it was the weekend for leisure, and wearing stockings would be too hot.
This scene caused Kurosawa to involuntarily glance at her.
Different from her mature and cool facial features, her figure was slim and tall. Her right foot was delicate and exquisite, as if it could be held in one grasp. Fair and clean, her nails were neatly trimmed, without any nail polish embellishments. The natural, moon-white appearance gave it a cute touch.
Due to the various foot fetish images circulating on the internet in his previous life, he inadvertently developed a slight preference for them, but it was only a minor one.
Soon, Kurosawa withdrew his gaze and took off his shoes. He was wearing socks.
“Hurry up.”
Itsuragi, the fastest to act, had already stepped onto the floor of the super trampoline park barefoot. She turned around and urged them.
Seeing her so energetic, the two naturally followed suit.
When they walked in, Itsuragi jumped onto the trampoline with a single leap.
“Woo-hoo!”
Unlike ordinary flat ground, the trampoline had elasticity. With the depressions and rebounds, Itsuragi joyfully made sounds of excitement.
Soon, Kurosawa and Ninomiya also entered the trampoline, but they walked in instead of jumping.
Not jumping directly but starting with a simple bounce, it felt a bit awkward. The two looked at each other and hesitated for a moment.
“Come on, you two, get excited! Today is for fun, not team building.”
Itsuragi, who was already bouncing, could hardly stop. However, when she saw the two in mid-air, she became speechless.
Although she said that, Kurosawa and Ninomiya looked at each other and remained still.
In the end, it was because both of them were not accustomed to playing around.
Unlike the karaoke session where there were many people and, coupled with the entry-level singing skills, Kurosawa now lacked trampoline skills.
“Ah! Help, I can’t stop!”
At this moment, Itsuragi let out a scream.
Hearing her complaint turning into a plea for help, Ninomiya looked over.
Upon looking, she saw that Itsuragi, at some point, had bounced very high and lost balance in the air. She was no longer in a vertical position but in a tilted posture.
Although there was a trampoline, falling with the head at an angle could still result in injury.
Seeing this scene, Ninomiya became anxious.
However, at this moment, Kurosawa had already rushed out.
With giant strides, he moved forward, each step heavy, and then took off.
Leveraging the trampoline’s elasticity, Kurosawa jumped high, arms outstretched, and caught her in his arms, landing vertically and steadily.
But before they could stand firm, the trampoline’s elasticity sent them flying again.
For a moment, Kurosawa held Itsuragi in the air.
Until the fourth trampoline rebound, Kurosawa gradually controlled the landing point and finally landed steadily.
“Exciting!”
Just as they landed, Itsuragi, who had been princess-carried by him, recalled the experience and cheered.
“Miss Runa, please be more careful.”
Seeing her acting like nothing happened after he placed her on the ground, Kurosawa felt a bit helpless.
Luckily, he had mastered leg techniques, was an expert in archery, and had a foundation in parkour, all of which were permanent skills. His control over the entire body was very skilled, allowing him to maintain balance even in mid-air.
Otherwise, when he rescued her just now, once he lost balance, it would have resulted in both of them uncontrollably bouncing around.
