Tokyo's Most Affectionate - Chapter 70
A Satisfying Conclusion
Returning to Tokyo, it was already 8 PM.
They met in Shinjuku, and the night ended with them getting off at Shinjuku as well.
Initially, Kurosawa wanted to take her to a fancy dinner, but Ichinose stopped at the entrance, unwilling to go inside.
After wandering around, Ichinose, holding onto Kurosawa’s arm, eventually stopped in front of a Japanese restaurant.
“How about eating here?”
“Sure.”
Kurosawa wasn’t particularly familiar with Shinjuku, so he nodded when he saw her interest in this restaurant.
Sitting inside the restaurant and looking at the menu, Kurosawa ordered a bowl of rice with toppings.
Seeing Ichinose choosing curry rice, he asked, “Don’t you like Western cuisine?”
“I rarely eat it; it feels troublesome to eat.”
Sitting in the chair, Ichinose nodded.
“That’s true.” Kurosawa also agreed.
Asian eating habits are quite similar, and are distinct from Western styles.
Dinner arrived quickly, and after eating for a while, Ichinose suddenly said she needed to go to the restroom and got up.
However, Kurosawa watched her and realized she didn’t go to the restroom but went to pay the bill.
When she returned and sat down to continue eating, Kurosawa had a smile on his face.
“Weren’t you going to the restroom?”
“I changed my mind.”
“Did you choose this restaurant because you wanted to pay?”
“I didn’t want you to always pay.”
Exposed, Ichinose didn’t mind admitting it, and responded without lifting her head.
She didn’t actually dislike Western cuisine; it’s just that the restaurant looked expensive, and she didn’t want Kurosawa to spend money. She also wanted to pay the bill.
Today at the beach, whether it was the swim ring, lunch, or the surfboard, Kurosawa paid for everything.
“It’s okay if you want to pay, but are you sure you won’t go hungry?” Seeing her feeling a bit guilty, Kurosawa asked.
From the beginning of their acquaintance, he knew that Ichinose had spent a lot of money to buy a Line account from Akari Tsumugi, which came with 21 university student boyfriends.
She didn’t have much money left.
“Why would I? You didn’t ask for an appearance fee before, and I still have a lot left.”
“Are you sure?”
“I’m sure, I won’t go hungry, I promise.”
“Alright.” Kurosawa nodded, deciding not to ask further.
“Speaking of the Line account with Tsumugi, besides me, there are twenty other boyfriends. How are you handling that?” Suddenly, he remembered something and asked curiously.
Ichinose didn’t just acquire one boyfriend; she had twenty of them.
Although, his relationship with Ichinose hadn’t been officially defined as boyfriend and girlfriend.
“I actually resold that account for 30,000 yen.”
Asked about it, Ichinose suddenly grinned triumphantly, holding up three fingers.
Why is there such a market for that kind of account?
Kurosawa felt a bit frustrated. Although the price wasn’t high, several times lower than the previous 110,000 yen, he found it odd that someone would buy it.
“But they know that the original owner of that account is Akari Tsumugi, right? Suddenly changing to a new girlfriend, can they accept that?”
“That’s not my concern anymore. The buyers can figure it out themselves.”
“Indeed.”
“Hikaru-kun, you’re not still thinking about her, are you?”
After mentioning this matter, Ichinose suddenly thought of something and asked with a hint of suspicion.
“How could I? I’m just curious about how you handled those twenty boyfriends.” Kurosawa shook his head.
“They’re not my boyfriends.”
“Weren’t they automatically yours when you bought the account with twenty-one boyfriends?”
“I only contacted you at that time, I didn’t bother with the others.”
“You did?”
“When we communicated about buying the account, the account owner sent your photo, and your credentials were the strongest, after all, you’re from the University of Tokyo.”
Ichinose nodded and explained.
In reality, the reason she endured the pain and spent a considerable amount to buy the account was because Kurosawa’s photo was so handsome, and he was from the University of Tokyo.
After dinner, they headed to the subway station.
“Bye bye.”
When the train arrived, Ichinose felt a bit reluctant, but she still waved goodbye to Kurosawa before entering.
“What do you mean bye bye; I’ll accompany you home.”
However, Kurosawa stepped onto the train with two strides, saying so.
“Why?”
Ichinose, who had boarded the train, was surprised that he would do this.
“I’m not at ease with you going home alone so late.” Kurosawa’s answer was self-evident.
Ichinose was so pretty, and the security in Neon wasn’t great. In case something unexpected happened to Ichinose on her way home so late, he would regret it for a lifetime if he didn’t see her safely to her doorstep.
“Hehe.”
Ichinose chuckled at his words, feeling a sense of security.
The subway at night was lively, but as it wasn’t rush hour, there were still quite a few seats available.
Finding an empty spot, the two sat down closely.
In just a few minutes, Ichinose hugged Kurosawa’s arm, leaned against his shoulder, and fell asleep.
After waking up early, waiting for messages, playing around all day, and staying up until now, coupled with Kurosawa by her side, Ichinose was truly tired.
Kurosawa glanced at her sweet sleeping face and smiled.
Not long after, Kurosawa woke her up when they reached the station Ichinose needed to get off at.
The two got off the subway together and started walking.
“In the future, don’t even think about going home alone this late, okay?”
Supporting her with his arm, Kurosawa spoke as they walked, observing the dimly lit and somewhat dark route she would take home.
If Ichinose were to be targeted on this route home, it would be disastrous.
“Got it, Captain! I’ll be sure to report back to you when I get home in the future!”
Because she had slept a bit on the subway, Ichinose felt even more tired. Hearing this, she saluted with renewed energy and then smiled.
In no time, they arrived at a house.
“Hikaru-kun, I’m home now! I had a great time today.”
Ichinose hugged his arm, looking at the house in front of her. Despite her slightly sore eyes and fatigue, she had a smile on her face.
“Me too,” Kurosawa smiled.
“Mua!”
Suddenly, Ichinose tiptoed and kissed Kurosawa on the face.
“Goodbye, remember to message me when you get home.”
She acted like she had done something mischievous. After the kiss, she ran inside, opened the iron gate, pushed it closed, and waved goodbye.
“Why are you running so fast? I’m not going to chase you.” Kurosawa, seeing her playful actions, felt speechless.
“Remember to message me.”
Ichinose opened the door with her key, turned around to remind him.
“I’ll remember, Captain, go sleep now.” Kurosawa nodded.
“Take care on the way.”
Feeling a bit reluctant, Ichinose, who was also tired, said goodbye once more and closed the door.
As she closed the door, Kurosawa felt completely at ease. He turned around and walked back along the way he came.
Moving along the path, he quickly reached the road.
“Taking the subway and then walking, might as well take a taxi.” Carrying a shoulder bag, Kurosawa looked around the roads and murmured to himself.
Deciding to act on his thoughts, he started looking for a taxi along the road.
Although it was a bit more expensive, considering he had fun all day and was exhausted, he decided to take a taxi straight home.
Before long, he arrived home.
“I’m home.” Putting his bag on the ground, Kurosawa took out his phone and sent a message.
“Got it!”
“I’m taking a shower and going to bed. Good night.”
“Good night.”
“It’s over.”
Kurosawa put down his phone, breathed a sigh of relief, feeling a weight lifted off his shoulders.
The third date had come to a successful conclusion.
