A Flat-Chest Believer Reincarnated in a World Where Women with Small Breasts Aren't Treated as Women ~ I Ended Up with a Flat-Chested Harem. - Chapter 56
The night with Selena and Lasha was incredible.
Two beautiful girls with the same face, both in my arms. The surreal nature of the situation made me so excited, I couldn’t help but lose myself completely.
I’m probably one of the luckiest men in history. How many people in the world have ever had a “twin beauties’ double first night”?
Human history is long. Maybe some have achieved it through sheer power or coercion. But in my case, both of them held a favorable opinion of me, even if not romantic feelings, and they smiled as they kissed me.
God, if you exist, thank you. Folca is truly happy.
After the wedding, we stayed in the royal capital for four days before returning to the Gustique estate in Remilba. Father, however, remained in the capital. He planned to handle social and work obligations until the evening party for the former king’s birthday before returning.
Despite the short stay, Risty spent her time visiting the royal castle and enjoying a relaxed time with her family, which was good.
When Selena and Lasha arrived in Remilba, the townspeople lined the streets to give them a grand welcome. Unlike with Risty, this time we had made prior arrangements. While the citizens would naturally welcome a primary wife, they might ignore a concubine. To avoid that, we subtly let it be known through various guilds and associations that “the Gustique family would be delighted if the people welcomed them warmly.”
Selena and Lasha entered Remilba not in a carriage but on horseback, waving to the citizens. Along the way, a small child exclaimed, “Hey, they have small chests too!” before their parent quickly covered their mouth. Well, minor incidents like that are unavoidable.
The two brought their belongings into their newly renovated rooms and successfully settled into the Gustique estate.

Two days after returning to Remilba, Risty and I were in the grand hall of the Gustique estate.
“Alright, place those flowers on the hallway-side wall. Move the large table a bit further back.”
Risty instructed the staff as they prepared for Selena and Lasha’s welcome party.
The event was being hosted by Risty to demonstrate her role as the primary wife welcoming the concubines. She had been making preparations even before we left for the wedding.
The participants included the Gustique family, their retainers, long-serving household staff, and a select few influential figures from the territory.
Of course, the Gustique retainers weren’t limited to those at the estate. Many were stationed across the various cities and towns to manage the territory. Those whose duties allowed it gathered in Remilba for the occasion.
The event was not an evening party with alcohol and food, but a large-scale tea party featuring tea and sweets. Selena and Lasha would likely find this more enjoyable, and it also had a greater impact.
From a Japanese perspective, a tea party with sweets might seem less prestigious than a traditional banquet with alcohol and meat. However, the reality was the opposite. Tea leaves were more expensive than some alcoholic drinks, and with plans to use copious amounts of costly sugar, the budget for this event was astronomical. The cost could have funded five regular evening parties of the same scale. While expensive, the event also served as a show of appreciation for the retainers.
Though the Gustique family could have covered the expenses from its accounts, Risty and I decided to pay for it ourselves. We both had plenty of funds.
With the decorations and table arrangements complete, we visited the kitchen. The staff there were working tirelessly in preparation for the next day. The atmosphere was intense, almost intimidating. The smell of baking treats, already underway, filled the air with a sweet aroma.
“If anything comes up, let us know immediately! Keep up the great work!”
I offered some encouragement before leaving the kitchen.
The next day, the day of the welcome party, it was early afternoon as participants began to gather one after another.
As this was an internal Gustique event, it felt more relaxed. With Risty, the host, being the highest-ranking attendee, any mishaps could simply become amusing stories. For me, this meant I could just enjoy eating sweets today. Wonderful.
Though relaxed, the sight of the hall was spectacular. Cakes, cookies, donuts, scones, Bavarian cream—all kinds of sweets were laid out in abundance.
The highlight was the strawberry shortcake. Made with strawberries from the greenhouse and plenty of whipped cream, it was a marvel. The participants stared in amazement.
For many attendees, this would likely be the first and last time in their lives to be surrounded by such a feast of sweets.
Risty gave a welcoming speech to Selena and Lasha, and the party began.
Selena and Lasha were seated at a small table in a manner reminiscent of a wedding dais. Key retainers, followed by other participants, took turns approaching them to offer their greetings. As this was a welcome party rather than a wedding showcase, I didn’t sit with them.
This approach also served to introduce the retainers, making things easier overall.
“Lady Selena, Lady Lasha, I am Muzuri Belmont, your steward. It is an honor to serve you. Please do not hesitate to call upon me for anything.”
The greetings began with Muzuri, the steward.
Meanwhile, other participants eagerly reached for the sweets. I heard comments like “Delicious!” and “Amazing!” from various corners. It seemed to be well-received.
After about five greetings, there was a planned pause. Certain individuals had been instructed beforehand to leave a few minutes of breathing room after each greeting. Otherwise, Selena and Lasha wouldn’t have had a chance to enjoy the snacks.
The two sampled the strawberry shortcake, their eyes lighting up as they ate.
“How is it? Good?”
I approached them and asked.
“Yes, it’s incredible. The soft, sweet bread, the rich whipped cream, and these strawberries… Even though it’s practically winter!”
While they knew about the greenhouse, they seemed deeply moved to experience its fruits firsthand.
They weren’t the only ones astonished by the strawberries. Even within the Gustique family, only a few knew about the greenhouse. The servants and influential attendees were more than surprised—they seemed downright intimidated.
Since the royal family’s own greenhouse, the so-called “strawberry shed,” had been constructed, the existence of a method to produce off-season strawberries was no longer a complete secret. Word would spread through these attendees. While strawberries would start circulating year-round near the royal family from next year, the implication that this mysterious technique originated with the Gustique family would subtly make its way around.
Whatever the explanation, the result would be clear: Gustique would gain a reputation for being extraordinary.
After Selena and Lasha finished their cake, the greetings resumed.
“Lady Selena, Lady Lasha, it is a pleasure to meet you. I am responsible for overseeing Marilba…”
The current speaker was Kudell’s father, one of the senior retainers. A gruff-looking man with brown hair, he was a prominent figure among the retainers.
The greetings continued steadily. Between them, maids brought more sweets for Selena and Lasha, who sampled various treats and sipped tea, clearly enjoying themselves.
And so, without incident, the welcome party concluded. It was a resounding success and left a lasting impression.
Though the cost was staggering.
◇◇ ◆ ◇◇
Late that night, after the welcome party, I lay on my bed, taking deep breaths to calm myself.
Next to me was Lasha. Selena was in her own room. I had no intention of spending every night with all three of them. While there had been several encounters since the first night, they had all been one-on-one.
Once my breathing settled, I spoke to Lasha.
“So, Lasha, how was today?”
“Um, it was a bit… enjoyable. The first night hurt, but I’m starting to get used to it.”
Lasha answered, blushing. Adorable, but that’s not what I meant.
“Ah, no, I meant the welcome party.”
“It was delicious. But wasn’t it extremely expensive…?”
“Throwing such an event frequently would be tough, but doing it once is no problem at all. Don’t worry about it.”
Half of the “Holy Water” I produce is sold outside the territory, and Risty is the nation’s top healer. We can always make more money.
“That’s amazing… Truly impressive, both Lord Folca and Lady Risty.”
Even in bed, Selena and Lasha still called me “Lord.” Well, this level of formality wasn’t bad.
In fact, the slight emotional distance combined with the intimate act of “procreation” made it all the more exciting.
I smiled and replied, “It’s not that big of a deal.”
