Future Touka said,

「I’m sorry. Because I came to this timeline, the present me and you might not end up together.」

Yet, in the epilogue of Volume 1, present Touka is actually asking him out(?).

It’s not because she falls in love with him after their movie date; it’s related to her older sister. (It was revealed on Volume 2 chapter 1)

 I think the author is baiting the reader with this epilogue, making them confused and trying to get them to read Volume 2.
