So a kinda confession that didn’t really lead to anything, ichigo still unaware that she pretty much lost and foreshadowing which isn’t really foreshadowing as it felt rather obvious from the start. Anti-climatic ending
Yeah ichigo dont have any chance but l like her character. She was the only one always supporting toui when there was no one. And yeah it is almost confirmed that camille-san is rira’s mother . It was foreshadowed from the very start when camille san was introduced.

Yeah, seems to be the case. I thought it was his mother, but i guess a mother figure instead. That’s why both of the fathers had bitter faces when he mentioned the promise and the weird obsession for the restaurant makes sense because of that.

She smells like a daughter who can’t refuse a father, her persona in school must be a facade as well. I’m guessing, MC’s reason is related to his mom. Probably gone now too basing on their tone.
Thing is, if your apathetic and don’t really have any goals in life, you’d just accept this. You get a fixed future, don’t have to worry about anything + even a bride?! Nice!
That said, if you actually have hopes and dreams, which most people brush of as you lose them when becoming an adult, the MC starts to become relatable. I didn’t have hopes or dreams but I do admire those who have them. What the MC lacks is realism. Opening up a restaurant is in general just a stupid idea in various places in the world. Most people fail because they read too many novels of how passion and delicious food can give them success, with no clue about money management and marketing. If the MC really wanted to keep “Maison” he should have shown more “real” effort in actually pulling it off, like avoiding it being in the red and stuff. I’m sure that if MC managed to just do that, his dad might have given him the restaurant. But if he really believes that cooking is the only thing he needed, then yes, this MC is just immature and somewhat cringe to watch.
Man is she annoying. She’s basically the opposite of the mc she’s a doll. She accepts everything and doesn’t try to resist. That’s hypocritical of her to him selfish while she intends to give into the selfishness of her parent
What can you expect of a kid with a selfish parent? Don’t blame the kid, blame the parent for being irresponsible.
Equal people huh. If you can’t live without getting any help from your parents, then don’t even think that your words will be taken seriously. This is why I dislike edgy MC’s who can’t look at reality.
Oof, I relate to the MC on a meta level. I have strict parents that had a path envisioned for me as well but instead of becoming an edgelord, I just broke that path with skill. Most of my relatives didn’t get the grades to attend university, so my parents stopped expecting me to pull that off as well but I did anyway. I don’t hate my parents but I do dislike this idea of “what I should be according to them”, so I just pull out the: “Who managed to get to university despite having parents that told him he wouldn’t be able to?” “Oh, did you guys go to university?” And they shut up. Never felt more powerful in my life than that, oof. I don’t exploit that card too much but it helps me to avoid attending stupid relative meetups, with relatives being people my parents know but that are strangers to me oof.

Not an edgelord, more like a guy in puberty. Is a nice change of pace tbh, especially when you used to be a good kid back in school and never did anything “devious.”
