I’m rooting for Kanna at this point. Just based on the story structure it feels a bit like Karen is the main heroine, but it might also end up as a harem ending, who knows.
I kinda like the plot, but the MC’s obliviousness is getting a bit grating, since the author goes out of his way to point it out over and over again.
It’s not exactly unique or anything, so it feels a bit redundant to say this, but this guy’s denseness is bordering on a mental disability at this point.

I like MCs who are cool (you know, actually cool, not chuuni cool) but don’t rely on their looks or physical talent to be cool.
I really liked the way the MC handled that fight. This type of scene is very common in romcom novels, but the way the MC handles them varies quite a lot, and when the MC uses cunning to resolve the situation are the best ones, imo. Another common pattern is that the MC has like, secret martial arts training and is actually super strong, but that just feels like the author is a lame chuuni in a modern day setting. If it’s an OP MC isekai, it’s one thing, but people in the real world just generally aren’t able to take 4 big guys by themselves, and especially not when they’re a lanky teenage boy. That just makes it cringe. Another variant is when the MC is a super p*ssy but like summons up his courage and just like, yells at the assailant to stop, and the other guy just like “man, what a hassle” and suddenly walks off for no reason, and that’s also unbelievable in a different way. Using trickery, and/or running away is the most sensible strategy, so it’s nice when the MC takes that route.
I feel bad for Kanna.
