- Chapter 180 - The Yandere Prince Arrives in Person
When Ruan Tong started talking about his idol, his eyes lit up like stars.
“I learned my ADC from watching him! His jungling is insane too! … Ugh, why am I even telling you? You wouldn’t get it! Anyway, just know that your little brother struck gold this time!”
“Oh…” Ruan Tang let out a huge yawn, her peach-blossom eyes misty with drowsiness.
So her little brother liked Yanri.
How could she not know him?
Not only did she know him—Yanri had to call her dad. Heh.
Ruan Tong, of course, had no idea what his sister was thinking. He was still caught up in his own excitement, unable to contain himself.
“Sis, do you want to come with me? I heard the lucky winners can even bring someone along!”
“I’ll pass. I want to stay home and sleep in on Sunday…”
Ruan Tong looked disappointed.
“But it’s such a rare chance! You could see so many top streamers and pro players! You really don’t want to go?”
Ruan Tang’s sleepiness only deepened, a faint flush dusting her pale cheeks as her peach-blossom eyes drooped.
“Not really interested…”
She was already an incredible streamer, and as for pro players—she could crush them casually.
If she wanted to see greatness, she might as well look in the mirror.
But since Ruan Tong was determined to bring her along, Ruan Tang couldn’t resist him for long and eventually agreed.
That evening, Ruan Tang received a phone call from Wen Yan.
“Tangtang, this Sunday there’s an offline Battlefront exhibition match. I’ll be attending. Would you be willing to come as a guest?”
When he asked, Wen Yan’s grip on his phone tightened.
On the business battlefield, where tens of billions were at stake, he never batted an eye.
But right now, he was as nervous as a lovesick fool.
He wanted nothing more than to meet Ruan Tang offline, to close the distance between them.
For that, he had even come all the way from distant Z City to the city where she lived.
But despite staying here so long, he never dared invite her out directly, afraid she’d think he had ulterior motives.
So instead, he had gone to all this trouble, orchestrating such a grand event, just to test whether she was willing to meet him offline.
Ruan Tang hesitated, then spoke softly.
“Sorry, I already have plans on Sunday.”
She would be attending, yes—but not as a guest. She was only going because Tongtong wanted her to come.
There was no way she’d expose her streaming identity in front of her brother, so of course she wouldn’t appear as an official guest.
Wen Yan’s eyes lowered in disappointment.
“…It’s fine. I was being presumptuous.”
Hearing the clear loss in his voice, Ruan Tang felt a twinge of guilt.
Still, his words served as a reminder—Sunday’s event would be dangerous. Yanri and Gu Leng would probably both be there.
She would need to take strict precautions before going!
No way was she letting Tongtong’s long-awaited outing turn into a bloody battlefield…
Sunday morning arrived.
Ruan Tong stared at his sister in disbelief.
She wore a light summer dress that highlighted her snowy skin and graceful curves.
But her delicate face was hidden behind a large black mask. A pair of sunglasses perched on her nose, and a baseball cap pulled low covered the rest, concealing her features completely.
She looked exactly like a celebrity trying to go incognito.
“Sis… you’re going out like that?”
Ruan Tang nodded. Her soft, sticky-sweet voice came muffled through the mask.
“Mm-hm. Why?”
“Why are you sneaking around like a thief? Aren’t you hot?”
Ruan Tong tried to tug off her cap, but Ruan Tang quickly pressed it down with both hands.
“I’m not hot. It makes me feel safe like this.”
Ruan Tong sighed, letting her be.
Fine, fine. With so many people attending, his sister looking this pretty was bound to attract trouble. Better to keep her face hidden than risk some random guys pestering her.
As they went downstairs, Ruan Tang asked curiously:
“Are we taking a cab?”
Ruan Tong grinned. “Sort of. We’ve got a volunteer chauffeur. He should be here already.”
Sure enough, when they reached the bottom, a sleek black luxury car was waiting.
Ruan Tang found it vaguely familiar.
The door opened, and a tall, handsome young man stepped out. His phoenix eyes gleamed like bright stars, his features refined yet carrying the unruly charm of youth. Though dressed casually, every piece was clearly designer.
He walked straight toward Ruan Tang, his gaze warm, brimming with affection.
“Sister, I came to pick you up.”
Ruan Tong immediately spat to the side.
“What, you think I don’t exist?”
Only then did Wei Quan glance at him, his tone flat.
“Oh, you’re here? Didn’t see you.”
Ruan Tong’s fists clenched, a vein bulging at his temple.
“You little punk—!”
But Wei Quan only had eyes for Ruan Tang. He took her hand naturally, leading her toward the car.
“Sister, let’s go.”
Ruan Tong exploded behind them.
“Hey! Who gave you permission to hold my sister’s hand?! Let go of her, you brat! Do you want me to beat you up?!”
But Wei Quan was quicker. He guided Ruan Tang into the passenger seat and even buckled her in with thoughtful care.
Left with no choice, Ruan Tong grumbled his way into the back seat.
Ruan Tang, curious, asked:
“Wei Quan, did you win a ticket too?”
Could she really know two lucky winners?
Ruan Tong immediately exposed him:
“Yeah right, he’s not blessed like me! He got in through the back door!”
Ruan Tang tilted her head. “Back door?”
“His family’s one of the event sponsors. He’s the young master of the famous Wei Corporation. Ugh, capitalism is rotten. I despise it.”
Ruan Tong sneered.
Wei Quan gave him a calm look.
“I was planning to set you up to meet YRN’s Yanri first, so you could get his autograph. But now, it seems you don’t really need my help.”
The moment those words landed, Ruan Tong dropped to his knees metaphorically, switching sides in an instant.
“Young Master Quan, it was this lowly one who was disrespectful just now! Please don’t hold it against me. Whatever orders you have, I’ll carry them out faithfully!”
Wei Quan’s thin lips parted, his voice faint.
“Shut up.”
Ruan Tong: “Yes, sir.”
Ruan Tang couldn’t help but laugh.
Her little brother and Wei Quan really did get along.
The noisy bickering between boys like this was honestly kind of cute.
At a red light, Wei Quan stopped the car. He turned toward the girl beside him, his eyes dark as ink.
“Sister, why are you bundled up so tightly today? Aren’t you hot?”
Her smile was always so breathtaking—it was a shame to have it hidden.
“I guess… a little.”
But since they were in the car, it wouldn’t hurt to take it off.
Ruan Tang tugged her mask down, revealing lips as pink and inviting as cherries.
“Phew, finally I can breathe again.”
She inhaled deeply, her cheeks flushing faintly, her cuteness unbearable.
And with every breath, her chest rose and fell dramatically, exuding a fatal allure.
Wei Quan stared, completely dazed.
