Su Qingqing was already feeling tired, so upon hearing Yu Xingye’s suggestion, she immediately assigned the task of calling Li Yun over.

Su Qingqing happily found the book she hadn’t finished, “The Lucifer Effect,” on the bookshelf and settled back into her recliner to begin reading.

Yu Xingye watched her with interest, until she finally glanced up from her book. He then picked up the office phone and called Assistant Chen.

“Send Li Yun over,”

he said, and hung up.

Su Qingqing thought to herself, “No wonder Assistant Chen’s salary is so high. Most people really can’t tell what the boss means from just a few words.”

About ten minutes later, there was a knock at the door.

Assistant Chen: “Boss Yu, Li Yun’s here.”

Yu Xingye stood up, walked over to Su Qingqing, and offered his hand, whispering, “Together.”

Su Qingqing, using the help, stood up and said with amusement, “What? Are you afraid your employees will bully me?”

Yu Xingye smiled noncommittally and led her towards the living room.

As soon as Su Qingqing opened the door, she saw Li Yun standing by the sofa, a bewildered look on her face. Assistant Chen greeted her, “Hello, Miss Su.”

Su Qingqing replied, “Thank you for your hard work.”

Yu Xingye slightly tightened his grip on Su Qingqing’s hand, his gaze icy as he looked at Assistant Chen.

Assistant Chen quickly lowered his head, thinking about how he’d have to share the story of Big Boss’s jealousy with everyone later, while secretly watching them from the corner of his eye.

Indeed, as the closest person to Big Boss, he had become the leading fan of the couple the moment he first met Su Qingqing. Following his lead, the entire company was also hooked.

Assistant Chen’s eyes lit up, and when he thought of the list of the most popular snacks that Yu Xingye had asked him to compile, he felt that the candy was even sweeter.

Before the chocolate in Su Qingqing’s mouth melted, Yu Xingye had finished reading the contract, and with Su Qingqing’s tacit attitude, he told Li Yun what needed to be changed.

After Li Yun wrote down the details one by one, she went out to reorganize them, and soon walked into the reception room with the new contract.
