In the dimly lit room, on the deep blue bed, two people were intimately embracing.

Su Qingqing, her head resting on Yu Xingye’s arm, nestled in his chest, her fingers lightly hooking the buttons of his pajamas, her breathing even, sleeping soundly.

Just then, Yu Xingye’s fingers twitched. He seemed to sense the warmth in his arms, and instinctively smiled, pulling her closer.

Yu Xingye slightly opened his eyes, his gaze clear. Although he didn’t look like he had just woken up, this was indeed the best sleep he had ever had.

He lingered in bed for a while, holding her close, then, remembering that breakfast hadn’t been made, Yu Xingye glanced at the clock on the wall and carefully moved his arm away, but still woke Su Qingqing.

Su Qingqing subconsciously tightened her grip on his clothes, half-opening her eyes to glance at Yu Xingye, and mumbled sleepily, “Xingxing?”

Yu Xingye leaned down and whispered in her ear, “I’ll make breakfast, I’ll be back when I’m done.”

He patted Su Qingqing’s back to coax her to sleep, “It’s still early, sleep a little longer.”

Su Qingqing snuggled against him and drifted off to sleep again.

Yu Xingye gently kissed the hand that was clinging to his clothes before going to wash up and make breakfast.

Su Qingqing was awakened by an itchy feeling on her face. She turned her head and buried it in the pillow, wanting to continue sleeping, but this conveniently exposed the small cinnabar mole to Yu Xingye’s eyes.

Yu Xingye chuckled and unceremoniously sucked on it, even mischievously grinding it with his canine teeth.

Su Qingqing trembled uncontrollably, instinctively burrowing into Yu Xingye’s warm embrace. He then looked up and kissed her reassuringly, whispering, “Baby, it’s time to get up.”

Yu Xingye was carrying a bowl out of the kitchen. Seeing her, he smiled and gestured for her to sit down.

When Su Qingqing reached Yu Xingye’s side, she realized he was carrying a bowl of wontons. The small, delicate wontons floated on a golden broth, looking incredibly appetizing.

Yu Xingye placed the food in front of her, wiping her hands with a wet wipe as he said, “The fillings for the steamed buns and wontons are all lean meat. Try them first. If you don’t like them, there’s vegetable porridge in the kitchen.”

Yu Xingye noticed that Su Qingqing could only accept the fatty parts of barbecue or grilled meat, so he prepared extra for breakfast.

Su Qingqing felt her heart overflowing with love. She looked earnestly into his dark phoenix eyes, her voice full of solemnity.

“Thank you, Xingxing.”

Yu Xingye’s lips curled up, and he said softly, “Then how about you come and keep me company on weekends from now on?”

Remembering that Su Qingqing’s new house had already started renovations, he added, “I can come and keep you company too.”

Su Qingqing looked at his eagerness and sighed, “He truly is a successful businessman; he knows how to seize opportunities.”

Yu Xingye asked her again, “Is it okay?”

“Okay, okay.”

Su Qingqing’s cheeks flushed slightly. She stuffed a steamed bun into his mouth and urged him softly, “Eat, eat, I’m hungry.”

Su Qingqing ate an exceptionally good meal, finishing a bowl of wontons, four steamed buns, and an egg. The buns looked small, but they were filled with a lot of filling, so she only drank half a bowl of vegetable porridge, giving the rest to Yu Xingye.

Yu Xingye watched Su Qingqing drink half a glass of water before letting her off the table.

After he put the dishes in the dishwasher and came out of the kitchen, he saw Su Qingqing sprawled on the sofa, lazily sunbathing. He walked over and picked her up.

Su Qingqing wasn’t scared by being suddenly picked up. She smiled and leaned on Yu Xingye’s shoulder, asking, “Shouldn’t we go?”

Yu Xingye carried her slowly towards the bedroom, as if he really didn’t want to let her leave, but his tone didn’t sound strange.

“Okay, I’ll drive you home after you change.”

Su Qingqing kissed his neck. “I don’t have classes after 3:30 this afternoon, so you should keep some snacks in your office.”

Yu Xingye’s mood improved again. “Don’t you need me to pick you up?”

“The driver can pick you up,” she said, remembering Assistant Chen’s increasingly dark circles under his eyes, and couldn’t help but laugh. “You need to focus on your work.”

Yu Xingye had no choice but to compromise.

Su Qingqing was overwhelmed by the variety of clothes in the closet. She glanced at Yu Xingye, who was staring at her from the window, and finally chose a white shirt dress with a subtle pattern.

Su Qingqing stared at him confidently, and even went up and touched them.

Yu Xingye generously let her touch him: “How is it?”

Su Qingqing smiled and praised, “Very good.”

She patted him gently, encouraging him, “Keep it up.”

Yu Xingye chuckled, grabbed her hands and placed them on his abs, then leaned down and gave her a short but intense kiss.

Yu Xingye licked the silver thread between their lips, his voice low and husky: “Help me button it up.”

Su Qingqing reluctantly touched him again before helping him button up his shirt, one button at a time.

Yu Xingye led her back to choose jewelry.

With Su Qingqing’s tacit approval, he picked out a seemingly expensive women’s watch, a pair of small, exquisite ruby earrings, and a simple, understated necklace, carefully putting them on her.

Finally, for cufflinks, Yu Xingye chose two different-designed red diamond cufflinks and put them on Su Qingqing’s wrist, just like last time.

Afterwards, Yu Xingye took Su Qingqing’s hand and kissed it with some regret, sadly realizing he couldn’t give her a ring yet.

Yu Xingye guided her fingers, showing her, “You tie a tie like this.”

His strong, well-defined fingers hooked around her slender, white hands, weaving through the black and red patterned tie—a sight so intimate it would make anyone blush and their heart race.

However, Su Qingqing’s attention was completely drawn to Yu Xingye’s extremely sexy Adam’s apple, hidden behind his shirt.

She unconsciously touched it.

Yu Xingye chuckled softly, “Baby, what are you looking at?”

Su Qingqing snapped back to reality, pressing her finger slightly harder, “You deliberately made me see it.”

Yu Xingye wasn’t embarrassed by being caught, and pulled Su Qingqing’s hand to tie his tie, but as he bent down, his Adam’s apple was partially obscured.

He looked at Su Qingqing’s slightly regretful eyes and smiled, “Did you learn it?”

Su Qingqing, still captivated by this “male vixen,” hadn’t paid attention to her hand movements and replied confidently, “No.”

Yu Xingye feigned helplessness, “It’s okay, you’ll learn after a few tries.”

He took Su Qingqing’s hand and wrapped it around his neck, embracing her and kissing her passionately.
