Six Ring Wizard - Chapter 310
Chapter 310: Power of the Titan
Since the new spell model was linked to the Giant’s Body spell, Helag worried that it might cause his body to grow larger, potentially smashing through the ceiling.
He headed to the backyard and looked around.
The neighboring courtyards were far enough away, and no one seemed to be watching.
However, to be cautious, Helag decided to set up a shielding wizard array first.
He took out a Book of Arcane from his spatial ring and began inscribing runes with his mana, slowly embedding them into the book.
The array he was setting up was called Nightfall, which prevented spying and had a sound-dampening effect, ensuring no noise would escape.
The range of Nightfall was large enough to cover the entire courtyard, as it was a first-level wizard array.
Nightfall also blocked magical detection spells unless they were particularly advanced or specialized.
After about ten minutes, Helag finished his work.
The Book of Arcane glowed with a soft white light, indicating that the Nightfall array had been successfully set up.
Helag then took the book and headed to the basement.
The structure of the house was similar to Lady Wendy’s estate, with the core of the wizard array located in the basement.
Most of the homes in Silvermoon City were designed this way, unless the owner had made specific modifications to place the array core elsewhere.
Helag entered the basement, where there was already a Book of Arcane controlling the house’s original array.
The original array had been designed with future expansions in mind, allowing for additional arrays to be integrated.
As a first-level wizard array master, Helag understood these things well.
After examining the existing array’s structure, he quickly found the expansion interface.
Helag placed the new Book of Arcane next to the old one and used his mana to inscribe a few runes, linking the two arrays together.
The original array had been built with expansion in mind, making it easy to connect new arrays.
This step required a wizard array master to complete, as it involved connecting the new array with a simple rune structure.
Ordinary homeowners would have to hire a wizard array master for this, but since Helag was one himself, he handled it easily.
The Nightfall array was successfully integrated into the original array and could now be controlled through the original array’s core.
Helag channeled some mana into the array, activating Nightfall.
A black dome enveloped the entire courtyard, making it impossible for anyone outside to see in—it appeared pitch black from the outside.
However, from within the courtyard, Helag could see everything outside clearly.
The view wasn’t obstructed, though a faint black veil surrounded the perimeter of the courtyard.
“What’s this?” Reese noticed the change outside and came to the backyard, seeing Helag emerging from the basement.
“This is the Nightfall array. It blocks outside detection. Now, we don’t have to worry about anyone spying on us when we’re doing something… secret,” Helag said with a mischievous grin.
Reese rolled her eyes. “You’re not planning to do that here, are you?”
Helag thought for a moment. “Well, it’s not impossible.”
He chuckled, then added more seriously, “Actually, I set it up to test a new spell. I wanted to make sure no one could spy on me, so I added the Nightfall array.”
Rees nodded. “I was wondering why you’ve been holed up in the study for the past few days.”
Helag smiled. “Step back a bit. I’m going to test the spell now. You should stand further away to avoid getting hurt.”
Although the spell was an enhancement spell and theoretically wouldn’t harm others, Helag preferred to be cautious and asked Reese to move back.
Reese obediently moved to the edge of the courtyard, watching Helag from a distance.
Once Reese was far enough away, Helag took a deep breath and channeled his mana into the new spell model.
The spell model activated instantly, linking to the other spell models.
Helag’s body began to expand, and within moments, he had transformed into a four-meter-tall giant.
His clothes tore apart, falling to the ground in shreds.
In addition to his enlarged size, Helag’s entire body was covered in a black and gold suit of armor.
The armor fully encased his massive body, and its cold, metallic sheen gave off an overwhelming sense of power.
Helag clenched his fists, feeling an unprecedented surge of strength coursing through his body.
He had the illusion that he could crush anything with a single punch.
This was the result of his strength increasing so rapidly—it would take Helag some time to adjust to this newfound power.
He needed to quickly get used to the strength and speed of this form so that he could control his body effectively in future battles.
“Deep Blue, analyze the physical enhancements this spell provides.”
Helag could feel the power, but he didn’t know the exact numbers, so he asked Deep Blue to calculate it.
“Task logged. Calculating…”
A minute later, Deep Blue provided the results after a thorough analysis.
“Spell enhancements: Strength +35, Agility +29, Constitution +36.”
“Current physical stats: Strength 60.5, Agility 54.6, Constitution 63.2, Spirit 57.6.”
Helag looked at the numbers, realizing that they were almost the same as when he had activated part of the Ancestor of Thunder’s bloodline power in the Death Swamp ruins.
Back then, he had only reached those stats by entering the first stage of the bloodline’s power.
But now, just by using this spell, his physical stats had reached that level.
If he ever had the chance to activate more of the Ancestor of Thunder’s bloodline power, Helag felt confident that he could even challenge a second-level wizard.
Even if he couldn’t win, at least he would be able to escape.
“Deep Blue, name this spell Power of the Titan.”
Helag thought for a moment and decided on the name.
In mythology, Titans were giants whose bodies were larger than most stars, containing the power of creation. They were said to be entire worlds unto themselves.
Helag named the spell with that goal in mind.
If he could one day reach the level of a Titan, no enemy would stand a chance—he would crush them with a single punch.
“This is… incredible!” Reese, even from a distance, could feel the immense pressure radiating from Helag.
The overwhelming sense of power emanating from him made it hard to breathe.
Even though Reese knew Helag wouldn’t hurt her, the instinctive pressure she felt was undeniable.
Just looking at him, she could tell how powerful he had become.
