Chapter 433: Capture
Helag crushed Malcolm’s communication stone to dust with a powerful punch.
After destroying the stone, he continued to sift through Malcolm’s spatial ring, extracting anything valuable.
He hadn’t decided how to handle the remaining flesh; the ring itself was something he didn’t want due to its “dirty” nature.
It was a liability, filled with evidence of countless deaths, a dangerous possession.
Helag planned to dispose of the ring at an appropriate time, though he hadn’t figured out the method yet.
After thoroughly inspecting the ring, he set it aside for later disposal.
Taking out the Black Space tool, Helag willed himself back to his original location.
He returned to the same spot, now devoid of other wizards, likely pursuing the white deer.
Most were uninterested in Helag and Malcolm’s battle, as it didn’t concern them.
Their primary goal in World X-617 was to seize world control, not wait for the duel’s outcome.
Helag surveyed the area for danger before searching for the deer.
With Black Space in hand, he had a plan to capture the deer.
He suspected Malcolm had prior knowledge, explaining why he possessed Black Space.
Perhaps Fran had given it to Malcolm specifically to capture the deer, now in Helag’s possession.
Having spent four to five hours in Black Space, Helag emerged to find no one around.
Uncertain of the deer’s direction, he had no one to ask.
Examining tracks, Helag deduced the direction of the group pursuing the deer and followed.
The numerous tracks indicated a large group, making the trail easy to follow.
Helag followed the trail at full speed.
After about an hour, he spotted signs of people.
Continuing, he found many wizards scattered, searching for the lost deer.
Helag joined the search, using environmental detection to scan the area.
Two hours later, resting atop a mountain, Helag spotted the deer.
Far below, near a waterfall, the deer appeared, cautiously surveying its surroundings before drinking from a stream.
Seeing the deer, Helag acted swiftly.
With no one following, it was the perfect time to strike.
Initially, some had followed him, but after an hour of aimless searching, they gave up.
Realizing Helag was searching randomly, they decided to search independently, avoiding delays.
Suppressing his aura, Helag silently approached the deer.
Drawing near, he slowly closed the distance.
At the right moment, Helag threw Black Space at the deer.
With a thought, Black Space emitted a powerful pull toward the deer.
Sensing danger, the deer looked at Black Space.
It attempted to teleport away but was too late.
The strong pull absorbed the deer into Black Space, which returned to Helag’s hand.
Holding Black Space, Helag watched the deer stand bewildered on barren ground, futilely teleporting around.
Suddenly, Helag noticed the sky darken.
Looking up, the clear sky was now overcast with rolling thunderclouds.
Thunder rumbled, signaling an impending storm.
Helag felt the energy particles around him grow turbulent, elements converging.
He realized the world will of World X-617 was exerting rule power.
Unfazed, Helag activated some bloodline power and flew skyward.
A wide lightning bolt struck Helag directly.
Apart from singed hair, he was unharmed.
The lightning’s power was absorbed like a drop in the ocean.
The Thunder God Ancestor bloodline naturally controlled lightning, rendering him unafraid.
With partial bloodline activation, Helag had high lightning resistance, suffering minimal damage.
Aside from mild numbness, he was unscathed.
More lightning followed, intensifying into a storm.
Lightning bolts rained down, accompanied by deafening thunder, creating a spectacular display.
In that moment, Helag experienced a profound sensation.
He felt something gathering above, a presence watching him.
Looking up, he saw only clouds, rain, and lightning.
Yet, he sensed something observing him.
Helag realized it was likely the world will, though invisible.
He retrieved the World Scepter from his spatial ring, infusing it with magic.
The scepter flew skyward, vanishing into the clouds.
Helag didn’t understand the World Scepter’s mechanics or how it functioned.
Upon activation, the small scepter soared upward, disappearing into the clouds.
Boom!
Suddenly, the sky lit with a web of red lightning, followed by thunderous booms.
The noise was deafening, as if the sky were collapsing, heralding an apocalypse.
But the spectacle lasted only moments; soon, the clouds dispersed, revealing clear skies.
The World Scepter descended, landing in Helag’s hand.
