Chapter 32: Don’t Leave Me Alone, Please

Sunlight streamed through the window, but it didn’t raise the room’s temperature much.

Chu Xinran looked at the man in front of her, who was bandaging her wound, her mind in turmoil.

Fang Zhou was suddenly flustered, so shocked he started to stutter.

“It’s not that, don’t take it too personally.”

Chu Xinran suddenly spoke, turning around with a mocking expression.

“Just an ex-boyfriend, not enough to make me hurt myself.”

The once pure and harmless Chu Xinran, now so cold, gave Fang Zhou the illusion of seeing CEO Han Xi.

He awkwardly scratched the back of his head, took a step back, and sat on the nearby chair.

“That’s good, no, that’s still not right, hurting yourself is too irrational.”

“Is what you said true?”

Chu Xinran looked up, her eyes moist, looking incredibly forlorn, like an abandoned puppy.

Fang Zhou didn’t turn around, speaking softly, “I have no reason to lie about this.”

Ready to leave, Chu Xinran called out.

“Wait!”

She got up from the bed, running to Fang Zhou’s back, hugging him tightly.

“Don’t go, brother.”

The soft voice in his ear felt like a little paw scratching, making it hard to be angry.

“Let go.”

Fang Zhou remained unmoved, placing his hand on hers, trying to pry it off but afraid of hurting her wound.

But she tightened her grip, arms around his waist, refusing to let go.

“I won’t! If I let go, you’ll ignore me again!”

Just like before, when she went for half a month of training, and he broke up with her upon her return.

Heaven knows how she got through that time.

“Brother, don’t go, don’t leave me alone, please.”
