“Alright then, sit.”

“Woof!”

If Reika is intent on being a dog today, then I’ll treat her as such.

Hopefully, she’ll feel embarrassed and apologize later on.

My plan is to give Reika commands under the premise that she’s acting as a dog.

This will embarrass her and lead her to apologize, at which point I hope to steer the conversation towards a minimum level of verbal communication.

Unaware of my intentions, Reika, perhaps thrilled by being commanded, obediently sits down just like a dog would.

Seeing her do this, I’m convinced that my strategy has worked perfectly.

I discreetly strike a victory pose inside my mind where Reika can’t see me and don’t forget to pat her head while praising her.

I am indeed a masterful Master.

“Give me your paw.”

“Woof!”

I then continued to give Reika commands as part of my strategy.

“Again.”

“Woof!”

“Lie down.”

“Woof!”

“Good-good, Reika is a really smart girl.”

“Woof!”

“Alright, this is the last one, okay? Can you do it?”

“Woof, woof!”

“Wow, you’re full of energy. But this last one is a bit tricky. Can you handle it?”

“Woof! Woof, woof!”

I then decided to give Reika the command for that particular trick.

She seems enthusiastic enough, so it shouldn’t be a problem.

“Show your belly!”

“Uh… woof.”

I then loudly announce to Reika the name of the next trick she’s to perform.

The trick is called ‘Show your belly,’ which involves standing on two legs and showing her belly.

However, Reika is human and wearing a uniform.

Just standing like a dog doesn’t really count as the trick called ‘Show your belly.’

It’s just a person standing, not a trick.

Therefore, unless Reika lifts her uniform and shows her belly like a dog would, I won’t recognize it as the ‘Show your belly’ trick. If she just stands normally, then I plan to give that instruction again.

Reika, you should know that fully committing to being a dog comes with these kinds of drawbacks.

“Woof…”

And so, whether from embarrassment or something else, Reika’s face rapidly turns beet red, and her once-energetic barking now lacks any vigor.

It seems my strategy is working better than I had anticipated, much to my relief.

That’s what I was thinking until I saw Reika hesitantly lift her skirt to reveal her light pink, lace-trimmed underwear——

“….Aniki, I’ve got to say, you’ve really crossed a line today. I’ll keep this a secret from mom for now, but let’s not have a next time, okay? Consider this a favor you owe me.”

And so, it goes without saying that my social standing in this house has now fallen below that of my sister.
