Chapter 16 – The Admiral Feels a Little Guilty
☆☆、Chapter 16 – The Whole Empire Thinks The Admiral Is A Stay-At-Home (Part 3) ☆☆、
The wounds on Hawthorne’s body were healing at a speed visible to the naked eye. The red muscle tissue was slowly wriggling. The visual effect was indescribable. The men around him watched with blinking eyes, not even daring to breathe.
This is a high-level S-class mecha that is unique in the four galaxies! It just passed by and was gone.
Hawthorne, surrounded by everyone, was leaning against an iron plate, facing the southwest, almost staring a few more holes in the crack of the mecha hangar, with evil aura bubbling out of him.
The person in charge of the detector that day was an old guy who had served the “Gray Pigeon” for more than ten years. Was there a problem with the detector, or with other links?
Or is it that the vicious man (who fired four shots) had problems himself?
…neither of his ideas sounded optimistic.
Just as he was thinking, a group of people suddenly popped in from Hawthorne’s field of vision. They carefully dodged the crumbling metal fragments and filed in through the crack of the mecha hangar.
Hawthorne: “…” From the rift?!
All right.
This mecha hangar is now useless, haha, what a huge expense.
The leading space pirate held the communicator high in the air, ran breathlessly, and shouted loudly: “Boss!”
Hawthorne rolled his eyes and said unhappily, “If you have to fart, do it now!”
”It’s a call from the House Empire.”
”Oh?” Hawthorne paused.
The wounds on his limbs had not yet fully healed, and he did not want to stand up from the ground. He gave a lazy look.
The black-clad subordinate behind him immediately understood and took the communicator and handed it to him, and just pressed the connect button…
Then Hawthorne raised a finger, a slender, fair finger with the skin of a rich lady but covered with calluses, and pressed the button to hang up.
Subordinate: “…”
Hawthorne moved his arm, and the pain almost pierced his eyes, and he said fiercely, “If they call again, tell them— ‘Go to hell’.”

Glenn Sassir had experienced countless storms in his 31 years of life, and had escaped death more times than others had to be hospitalized for intravenous drips. However, none of these escapes was more fantastic than controlling Black to escape from Thunderstone Star.
This is simply illogical.
Glenn stared at the control screen in disbelief until the mecha left the isolation range of the communication signal and made a “beep” prompt sound, then he suddenly accepted the fact.
What the hell? Was this a miracle gift from his irresponsible parents who had been separated from him for thirty years?
Or was he actually the illegitimate son of the Gray Pigeon’s leader, Laika, left behind in Fran?
…Neither of which sounded optimistic.
Glenn studied the operating system of this mecha, which was different from the Fran model, for a while, and gave Black a few simple instructions. After confirming that the route planning to the target location was correct, Glenn asked hesitantly: “Black, can you initiate a real-time call with the nearby ships?”
”We can match you with a cosmic-class starship within a ten-star range, Mr. Sasir.”
”Okay, please wake me up when we are within ten stars of our destination.”
”Yes.”
Glenn relaxed, wiped his face with his hand, set the driving mode to fully automatic, and a mechanical female voice began to give instructions spontaneously.
The hypothermia caused by blood loss from the wound and the fatigue caused by lack of sleep flooded into Glenn’s mind. He yawned and fell into a deep sleep in this uncomfortable sitting position.
When he woke up again, two and a half hours had passed on the control screen.
Glenn stretched his body, found a medical kit from the secret compartment under the driver’s seat, and treated his wounds simply.
Logically, he should have done this as soon as he escaped from Lei Shi Star, but the intensive amount of information he received at that time really made him lose his energy.
Glenn didn’t like to avoid trouble, but he’s not a masochist either. He couldn’t really be interested in trouble that came knocking on his door.
Besides, things like his background…he stopped caring about them many years ago.
Glenn fixed the penetrating wound on his calf with great pain and determined that there was some muscle tear. He needed to return to the starship for further treatment. He frowned and asked, “Black, how many stars are we away from our destination?”
”Six stars, Mr. Sasir.”
”Six stars?” Glenn was slightly stunned. “I remember asking you to wake me up when we are ten stars away from the destination?”
”Your order is to wake you up when you are within ten stars of the destination, Mr. Sasir.” Black’s mechanical voice was flat: “Ten stars is a range. When you lose consciousness, I will judge the appropriate time to wake you up.”
”……”
In other words, it could be ten stars away from the destination, or it could be one meter away from the destination? !
Black: “Judging from your various physical signs, I judged that you needed more sleep. If you didn’t wake up just now, I would have considered waking you up when we are about to reach our destination.”
After a short sleep, he did feel much better.
Glenn could only sigh: “Okay, thank you. Please detect whether there is a cosmic starship within the range of ten stars.”
”Yes.” Black was silent for a while. “There is a space-class starship docked near the destination. The model is F-816, military standard. Do you need to connect the contact signal?”
F-816, Fran’s standard military starship. Glenn raised the corner of his mouth and smiled, recalling some of his experiences when he had just entered the battlefield.
”Black, answer the call immediately. If the communication channel is encrypted, please enter the password 2997.”
”Yes, Mr. Sasir.”
Perhaps it was because he was homesick, but the two minutes of the communication connection process seemed extremely difficult.
Glenn adjusted his collar, smoothed his hair, re-applied the bionic tape on the side of his neck, and hesitantly touched the new stubble on his lips.
The Admiral paused for a moment, then realized belatedly— ‘Why do I feel just like a female Omega going out on a date for the first time?!’
Admiral Glenn, who was on his first “video date”, shuddered for himself, clenched his fingers and coughed softly.
There was a beeping sound from the direction of the mecha’s communicator, and Glenn suddenly shook off his disgust for himself and looked at the holographic image that popped up.
The liaison officer of a starship is usually a concurrent intelligence officer of the Military Intelligence Department. The person who appears here should be his old acquaintance, Captain Havelin.
However, his sixth sense kept telling the young admiral of the empire that he would meet the person he wanted to meet.
He had liked the Omega for many years without realizing it, the noble and wise Crown Prince of the Fran Empire and the pride of the Gustav family.
He wanted to see him, more than ever before.
The holographic projection finally lit up completely, and Glenn smiled silently.
Joshua sat upright in the starship command seat, with Ke Xi making faces on his left and Miranda, who was filled with righteous indignation, on his right. Both had bruises on their faces and one had huge dark circles under his eyes. They looked just like the executioner in an oil painting with two guards carrying axes on his left and right, looking extremely terrifying.
Glenn stared at it in silence for a while, then blinked his obsidian eyes with a smile.
”Your Highness,” Glenn said.
Miranda tried hard to express her anger with her eyes, but unfortunately the color around her eyes was too dark, and it was not as intimidating as Joshua’s cold smile.
Joshua: “Hehe.”
Glenn: “…” ‘Well, I feel a little guilty.’
‘Hi everyone, I have liked someone for many years, and I just recently realized that he is my crush. Unfortunately, after I realized that he is my crush, I did something that went against his wishes, and now he seems very angry. What should I do? Please help me.’
His Royal Highness the Crown Prince had a stern expression, his two long legs crossed, his fingers resting on his chin. The blue eyes that Glenn was familiar with were dark, and his tone was almost businesslike: “Admiral Glenn Sasir.”
Glenn sat up straighter, thankful that he had managed to hide a few obvious injuries while fixing his appearance. “Yes.”
”You attacked members of the royal family, disobey military orders, and secretly went to Thunderstone Star with the traitor Victoria Gustav and others. According to the Fran military regulations, how should you be punished?”
Glenn pursed his lips and said solemnly, “I will report to the military court after returning.”
”Very good.” Joshua nodded through gritted teeth.
Ke Xi, who had been watching the whole process quietly, closed his eyes in pain – ‘Admiral Glenn, are you sure that His Royal Highness the Crown Prince wants to hear this?’
Joshua took a deep look at the holographic projection in front of him, suppressed his anger and asked calmly: “What are your coordinates, Admiral?”
”I have hijacked a mecha on Leishi Star, which is 4.8 star miles away from the starship. We are expected to arrive in half an hour.”
Glenn had escaped, which was the same as their previous plan.
Joshua’s mood finally recovered a little, and he nodded lightly: “Okay, see you later.”

Thirty minutes later, the advanced S-class mecha piloted by Glenn docked with the Fran starship. Ke Xi and Miranda stood side by side outside the mecha apron, one on each side, and greeted with their eyes the not-so-gorgeous return of the Empire’s first admiral.
The nearby mecha soldiers came forward to watch the legendary S-class mecha, making the two stubborn admirals look like a breath of fresh air.
Glenn, leaning on the simple retractable crutch in the mecha medical kit, struggled through the crowd and slowly walked in front of the two people. He was speechless for a moment: “…What happened to you two? Were you beaten by Joshua?”
Miranda: “…”
Ke Xi: “…No, we were fighting with each other.”
After learning the truth twenty-four hours ago, the only female admiral of the Empire who was kept in the dark made an appointment with Ke Xi to fight. The two spent half the morning in the fighting room and punched each other in the eye.
After careful counting, the two admirals seemed to be the only two wounded soldiers who came to Lei Shixing to support them…
”I’m sorry. I hid something from you.” Glenn half bowed sincerely and apologized to Miranda.
Miranda blushed and whispered, “It’s okay, are you hurt?”
”Well, it’s a minor injury. There might be a little problem with my left leg.”
Ke Xi lowered his head and looked at Glenn’s left leg for a while, then smiled frivolously. The unlit cigarette slipped back into his hand and he whispered, “Trust me, your injury is good, very good.”
Eleven years of chaos disappeared, and this time Glenn really understood.
The two looked at each other meaningfully.
——‘My legs are going to be broken anyway. It’s better to have them broken by someone else than by His Highness…right!’
