“Senior Huo Jun.”
The smile on Huo Jun’s face faded.
When he was silent like this, the malicious intent in his eyes that he didn’t hide could easily make people uneasy–Qin Yan had been scared off by such a gaze before.
But Qin Ke seemed calm and quiet, her amber eyes just quietly looking at him.
Huo Jun felt as if he had been scratched by a cat with an expressionless face.
An inexplicable irritability surged in his heart, Huo Jun licked his teeth and sneered–
“Do you really not fear me at all?”
He straightened up from leaning against the piano, and lightly raised his eyes.
“Do you know who I am?”
Qin Ke frowned slightly, “Why should I be afraid of you?”
“..…”
Huo Jun laughed in anger.
He turned his face, swept his gaze to the side, and those secretly falling gazes were all scared back by him. Then Huo Jun turned back, biting the corner of his thin lips, and a low laugh escaped from his throat.
“Do you know what happened to those dozen or so people who ambushed me in the alley that day?”
“…”
“They all ended up in the hospital–one of them almost went to the ICU.”
As soon as Huo Jun finished speaking, he suddenly pressed down. He reached out and grabbed the girl’s slender wrist, pulling her forward.
The boy lowered his eyes, his pupils pitch black.
His clear and cold face was expressionless.
“Now ask again–why should you be afraid of me?”
Qin Ke’s wrist hurt a bit from his grip.
But when she looked at the boy’s face up close, which still had a bit of youthful tenderness, she could only think of the person who rushed into the explosion at the drama group in her previous life, shouting her name.
She had seen his most ferocious expression.
It was to save her–he was fearless.
The girl suddenly laughed.
On her clean and white melon-seed face, the smile was light and soft, and it seemed like there was a light rippling in her amber eyes.
That light actually made Huo Jun feel dazzled, he dared not look at it…..but he only wanted to monopolize it.
His thoughts wavered. He heard the girl ask.
“So, would you hit me, Huo Jun?”
“…how do you know I won’t?”
“Then you try.”
“…..”
For the first time in his life, Huo Jun was completely “threatened” by someone, and he was actually scared.
And Qin Ke saw the rare embarrassment and evasion in the boy’s eyes for a moment, and her mood inexplicably became cheerful.
She smiled with her eyes down, but quickly restrained it.
“Senior Huo Jun, shall we familiarize ourselves with the score?”
“…Don’t call me that.”
Qin Ke looked up at him.
Her pupils were clean, clearly black and white.
And Huo Jun suspected that he saw the meaning of “what can you do to me” from her.
Like a ball of rabbit challenging a lone wolf.
Huo Jun laughed in anger, his eyes fierce.
“Let me hear it one more time–I’ll make sure you can’t speak.”
Qin Ke stiffened.
A few seconds later, she obediently skipped the topic, “Let’s familiarize ourselves with the score.”
Hearing that the girl was scared, Huo Jun stared at her with deep eyes.
Was she really scared?
For a moment, suppressing the inexplicable irritability in his heart, Huo Jun sneered lightly.
He turned his head to look at the score in the girl’s hand.

At eight o’clock that night, the freshmen military training mobilization performance was held on the drill field, and all the students in the school were wearing camouflage uniforms, carrying stools and sitting under the podium.
Backstage.
Someone from the Literature and Art Department ran back to report.
“OK, the group dance program successfully ended, no problems.”
“Good.”
Once again crossing out a name on the program list, the head of the Literature and Art Department breathed a sigh of relief. But when he saw the next “solo female dance”, he frowned again.
“Qin Yan.”
Qin Yan came over from not far away, “What’s wrong, Department Head?”
“Is there any problem with your sister, Qin Ke? This solo dance is indeed very difficult.”
Qin Yan smiled, “Xiao Ke’s mother is a dancer, her talent is not a problem.”
The department head was stunned, “You’re not her real sister?”
“No.”
Qin Ke’s eyes flickered, and a hint of loneliness appeared on her face, “Qin Ke’s parents died very early, she was alone and helpless, and was adopted by my parents.”
“My God? Qin Ke is actually an orphan?”
People nearby heard and looked over in surprise.
“Qin Yan, your parents are too kind, aren’t they?”
“Yes, it’s really lucky for Qin Ke to meet your family.”
Qin Yan brushed the broken hair on her forehead behind her ears and smiled gently, “It’s nothing. Just don’t mention it in front of her, and don’t tell others…..I’m afraid Xiao Ke will be sad.”
“Wow, Qin Yan, I would be so happy if I had a sister like you!”
“…”
Hearing those praises again, Qin Yan also smiled without saying a word.
After a while, she turned and walked to the department head, “Department Head, are you still worried about Xiao Ke’s solo dance?”
“Yes.” The department head frowned, “If this one fails, it would be a joke in front of the whole school.”
Qin Yan’s eyes flickered.
Then she smiled and said, “The previous dances were all great, even if Xiao Ke doesn’t perform well in this one, the teacher won’t blame us. At most, the freshmen will laugh, which will just lighten the atmosphere, and it will pass.”
The department head sighed absentmindedly.
“That’s true, there’s no way. This solo dance was originally designated by Teacher Wu Qingyue, let alone among the freshmen, even in our Literature and Art Department, only you can dance well–let’s make the best of a bad situation.”
“.…”
Qin Yan smiled faintly, but a cold pleasure flashed in her eyes.
The humiliation she suffered from Huo Jun today, she could return it to Qin Ke in front of the whole school later.
She didn’t believe it–Qin Ke, who had never experienced professional training, could dance this dance beautifully.
Two minutes later.
The host’s loud voice came from the stage.
“Next, please enjoy the solo female dance, ‘Falling Light’, brought by freshman Qin Ke.”
