Tokyo's Most Affectionate - Chapter 89
Jealous
On Friday night, the atmosphere was lively.
Even at ten o’clock, Shibuya remained bustling with people.
Kurosawa, carrying the drunk Itsuragi on his back, walked out of the izakaya.
Ninomiya helped carry Itsuragi’s pair of high heels and followed along.
On the way to the subway station, a completely intoxicated Itsuragi leaned her face on Kurosawa’s shoulder, seemingly immersed in a pleasant dream.
“Kurosawa, you’re amazing.”
Her words were a bit slurred, accompanied by a strong smell of alcohol.
Hearing this, Kurosawa’s body tensed involuntarily, looking somewhat awkwardly at Ninomiya beside him.
“Runa, you’re such a mess when you’re drunk.”
Ninomiya didn’t say anything, and just smiled contentedly.
That smile was utterly devoid of warmth!
Seeing that smile, Kurosawa felt a chill down his spine.
Luckily, the one he was carrying was Itsuragi. If it were someone else, she would probably be furious.
Although Ninomiya consistently maintained an attitude of “I don’t like you; we have a teacher-student relationship,” the system had long revealed her true feelings – she harbored affection for him.
Moreover, this affection had warmed up considerably since their date last Saturday at the amusement park.
“How about we take a taxi back?”
Feeling uneasy, Kurosawa suggested that continuing this way wasn’t a solution.
After all, they had to carry Itsuragi to the subway station, and even after reaching the station, there was still a considerable distance to cover to get home.
During this time, if Itsuragi jokingly mentioned eloping, it would be disastrous.
“There’s no rush. Taking a taxi is too wasteful; let’s just take the subway back.”
Ninomiya shook her head, completely dismissing the suggestion.
She was slightly bothered by it though, Kurosawa was carrying Itsuragi on his back, his hands supporting her thighs, while she continued to say such misleading things.
However, just because of this, taking a taxi wasn’t cost-effective at all.
On the streets, nothing unexpected happened.
They took the subway, got off at the designated station, and finally managed to deliver her to the front door – a two-story duplex with a garden and a fence.
Being able to buy such a house in Tokyo, whilst not in the city center, still indicated that Itsuragi Runa was a successful elite.
“This is Runa’s home.”
Ninomiya opened the iron gate with a key and then walked inside to open the main door.
As a close friend, she naturally had a key to this house.
“Why are you standing there?”
Soon, she opened the main door and turned around to find Kurosawa still standing in place, looking puzzled.
“Do I need to come in too?”
Kurosawa stood at the doorway, feeling a bit perplexed.
He had brought her all the way to the doorstep, and with Ninomiya present, it should be fine.
“You’ve already carried her this far, might as well see it through.”
“Yeah, you’re right.”
After giving it some thought, Kurosawa walked in with Itsuragi on his back.
The house was quite spacious. Kurosawa took off his shoes and carried her upstairs.
“Done.”
After laying Itsuragi on the bed, Kurosawa, who had finally unloaded his cargo, stretched his muscles.
He thanked the system for strengthening his body, otherwise carrying an unconscious person this far would have likely worn him out.
“Thank you for your hard work.”
Ninomiya turned on the bedroom light and brought him a glass of water.
“How much did this house cost?”
Kurosawa took a sip of water, moistening his throat, and looked at the rather large bedroom with curiosity.
“75 million yen, it’s fully paid for.”
“So expensive,” Kurosawa couldn’t help but mutter; the property prices in Tokyo were certainly no joke.
“She discovered Fujiwara Rika just as she entered the industry. Fujiwara’s career took off immediately, reaching its peak. With the continuous rise of her value as an artist over the years, she managed to accumulate enough to buy this place outright last year.”
Ninomiya nodded, acknowledging the hefty value.
“Uh…”
During the conversation, Itsuragi, possibly uncomfortable lying down, turned to change her position, and her eye-catching fair legs became quite prominent.
Seeing this, Kurosawa thought it would be impolite to stare and turned around, planning to leave.
“Don’t leave, you’ve already touched her, what’s the harm in taking a few glances?”
Seeing his movement, Ninomiya said.
“Oh.”
Kurosawa thought about it and agreed, so he stopped in his tracks.
“You really plan to stay and keep looking.”
Seeing him turn around and genuinely wanting to stay, Ninomiya stared straight at him.
“I’ll wait outside.”
Seeing her contradicting words and actions, Kurosawa sensed trouble and quickly slipped away.
Clearly, she was still feeling jealous and was holding back her frustration.
After a few minutes, Ninomiya opened the door and stepped out.
Kurosawa leaned against the wall, waiting. When he saw her coming out, he adjusted his posture, standing up straight.
“Sorry… I got a bit drunk.”
Seeing his reaction, Ninomiya hesitated for a few seconds before apologizing for the earlier incident.
“It’s okay. I also got a bit tipsy, I’m a little dizzy.” Kurosawa shook his head, not bothered at all.
That situation just then was something he should have avoided.
The atmosphere now was a little awkward.
“I’ll stay here tonight. She’s drunk, and I’m a bit worried. I’ll take you to the subway station later.” Ninomiya pointed to the room behind her and suggested.
“There’s no need, you’ll have to come back here later. I’m more worried about that.” Kurosawa shook his head, not willing to let her accompany him to the subway station.
Moreover, it was already late at night.
If the slightly intoxicated Ninomiya were to walk from the subway station to here, a ten-minute journey, there could be some unforeseen accidents.
“Then I’ll escort you to the entrance.”
After thinking about it, Ninomiya agreed, waving her hand.
“Sure.” Kurosawa nodded.
With that, he took the lead, walking down the stairs. Ninomiya naturally followed behind.
“Ah.”
While descending the stairs, Kurosawa suddenly heard a gasp from behind.
Hearing this unexpected exclamation, he instinctively turned around.
Before he could see clearly, something pressed against his back.
It was Ninomiya, lying on his back.
This situation made Kurosawa instinctively bend forward, supporting her on his back.
“I feel a bit dizzy, can you carry me downstairs?” Ninomiya whispered, lying on his back.
Her voice was soft, with a hint of hesitation, clearly showing some shyness.
Kurosawa, upon hearing this, if he still didn’t understand the situation, he might as well be a dog.
Kurosawa remained silent, just bending down. Once she fully laid on his back, he used his hands to support her thighs and stood up.
Unlike the previous time at the amusement park, today she was wearing black stockings.
The sensation of holding her thighs was smooth and delicate, it was quite distinct from touching bare skin.
Walking from the second floor to the first floor, there were only a few steps, and they reached the bottom in the blink of an eye.
However, during this journey, neither of them spoke. There was only the subtle sound of breathing, footsteps, and heartbeats.
“Was it easier to carry her, or me?”
Reaching the first floor, Ninomiya finally spoke.
“Of course, it’s easier and more comfortable to carry you. Miss Runa was completely drunk and wasn’t cooperating with me.” Kurosawa said matter-of-factly.
“Comfortable? Don’t talk nonsense.” Ninomiya felt a bit embarrassed and lightly punched his shoulder to protest.
“Hahaha.”
Kurosawa laughed and carried her to the entrance before gently putting her down.
“Take care and send me a message when you get home.”
Back on her feet, Ninomiya, before he could turn around, adjusted her hair slightly and said.
Kurosawa turned around and saw her face slightly blushing, unsure if it was due to shyness or being intoxicated, he nodded with a smile.
“Got it, you get some rest too.”
