After the Lord of the Abyss Awakens - Chapter 132.1
“Are you alright!”
Marbas quickly took control of the area, rapidly searching the nearby auras, then walked toward the bloodied and mangled corpse.
Samikina seemed lost in thought, His gaze locked on the ground, ignoring Marbas’s inquiry.
“What exactly happened?” Marbas’s alertness instantly heightened.
“He left.”
Samikina’s voice was deep and calm, “This body wasn’t His true form.”
Just moments ago, that doorway had quietly opened, revealing a figure in the pure white space.
His appearance and form were identical to their father’s, but His temperament was completely opposite.
He immediately recognized this figure’s identity, launching an attack, but that figure seemed like merely a wisp of smoke or a mirror’s illusion, dispersing at the slightest touch, instantly vanishing into nothingness.
As for the body on the ground…
Samikina’s gaze slowly lowered as He fell into deep contemplation.
Just some god grabbed to hold Him back, He killed them once He realized – this god was powerful, but He was stronger, that was all there was to it.
The body transformed into countless points of light, scattering instantly.
Samikina looked at Marbas, then slowly recounted how He had solved the Rubik’s cube to obtain the key.
After hearing this, Marbas couldn’t help but show surprise, “How strange, the Creator God lived here? Why did Lelagin use a memory cube to lock away the key to the Creator God’s door?”
Samikina fell into thought, slowly saying, “Perhaps the Creator God was locked here by some power, and Lelagin was the guardian.”
Marbas’s eyes widened, “Locked up by whom?”
Samikina said directly, “Agares.”
“Second Brother again?” Marbas exclaimed, his eyes full of disbelief.
Then, Marbas’s thoughts began racing, “Wait, if Second Brother locked the Creator God here, haven’t we just helped Him break free by going through all this trouble to unlock the seal?”
Samikina shook His head, continuing, “No, this seal probably couldn’t have been maintained forever. For Agares at that time, it may have only been meant to temporarily contain the Creator God. Letting the Creator God out now might mean…” His voice gradually lowered.
Marbas’s thoughts moved rapidly, quickly reaching a conclusion. “Is this going to be the final battle?”
Samikina nodded, responding, “Possibly.”
Marbas tilted His head. “Wouldn’t it be better if we could keep Him sealed and subdue Him together? Once He escapes, it might be harder to track Him down.”
Samikina recalled the “figure” He had just seen, contemplating before speculating, “That was just a main consciousness. Destroy the main consciousness, and other secondary consciousnesses will become the main consciousness. Simply destroying it has no substantial meaning. Moreover…”
“Moreover what?” Marbas pressed.
“The transition between old and new should be a grand and solemn ritual, with all gods watching us. If the stage is too small, they might find it boring,” Samikina speculated.
Marbas scratched His head in confusion. “We don’t need their approval. Besides, we’re not putting on a show.”
Samikina nodded: “Yes, but Agares likes it this way, He’s always emphasized ceremony.”
Marbas sighed, “Can’t Second Brother fix His habit of being so cryptic? Making you go through all this trouble just to open the door and let the Creator God escape.”
What was He thinking?
Samikina shook His head. “He probably wanted to tell me the Creator God’s identity.”
“That’s true, I only just learned about it from Busson.”
Marbas gave up thinking, “Whatever, I can never understand Second Brother’s thoughts anyway. Since the Creator God has come out, we can probably start the battle soon, right?”
Samikina looked at Marbas, His eyes showing slight tenderness, then asked, “How are our younger brothers and sisters progressing in their training?”
Marbas lowered His head, counting on His fingers. “The first batch is doing well, they’ve all made it to the first echelon. The second batch still needs some time. Busson just got back home and hasn’t started training yet. We’re still looking for Sitri, don’t know where He ran off to.”
Samikina evaluated. “The preparation isn’t enough.”
Marbas raised His eyes, looking aggrieved. “Can’t help it, They’re already trying their hardest.”
They were working even harder than when they fought the Abyss God, Marbas couldn’t help but praise them as their elder brother!
“There is a way. I’ll teach them.”
Samikina smiled slightly, His gaze gentle as water, but it made Marbas shiver.
Indeed, Fourth Brother was good at teaching, perhaps too good. Marbas strongly agreed.
“We’ll go to the Infinite Trial shortly.”
After speaking, Samikina stepped into that pure white room.
This space was indeed as He had anticipated, a complex and unfathomable magical domain, its magical logic showing surprising similarities to the Rubik’s cube.
Agares had cleverly used Lelagin’s memories to do two things: one was connecting to their father, the other was containing the Creator God.
Why did it have to be Lelagin’s memories? Because they were long enough, ancient enough, and more crucially, Lelagin Himself was the Creator God’s masterpiece.
Though the Creator God created all things in the world, not everything was made by His own hands. The Elven Ancestor God was His direct creation, while the Human Ancestor God was not – the difference was like that between innate and acquired traits.
Samikina carefully observed the room, detecting only faint traces of creation power without finding other abnormalities.
Marbas followed closely. “Second Brother is too powerful. When we still knew nothing, He had already defeated the Evil of the Universe alone and trapped the Creator God here. He hadn’t fully awakened His omniscience and omnipotence, yet He was already this strong.”
Samikina nodded, “Yes.”
Marbas: “So that’s why the Creator God sent Death and Silence to kill Agares in the dream realm.”
Before the great battle, strike the most dangerous enemy first. In the Creator God’s view, Second Brother was a more terrifying opponent than Big Brother.
“It’s just unfortunate that Death and Silence weren’t strong enough to complete His mission.”
Marbas lowered His head, suddenly saying, “Fourth Brother, you just met the Creator God, what do you think of His strength?”
This was quite an important question. It might sound obvious – how could the Creator God not be powerful? But it wasn’t necessarily true. Most ancient gods were weaker than modern gods. Even with similar status, ancient gods would lose to modern gods eight or nine times out of ten when fighting, because modern gods generally had more knowledge and better understood how to use divine arts. Although humans often had the misconception of revering the ancient, thinking older meant better, the actual situation needed specific analysis.
Of course, those gods with fundamental concepts were exceptionally powerful and were exceptions. The Creator God’s title sounded impressive, but compared to concepts like death, destruction, and deconstruction, His combat ability was clearly a notch lower, right?
Marbas belatedly realized, looking at Samikina. “If that Creator God fellow had overwhelming power, He wouldn’t need to play hide and seek with us, right?”
Samikina never made absolute statements, although the phantom He had witnessed indeed wasn’t strong, at most middle-tier among the first echelon ranks. He considered, “The Creator God’s strength should be similar to our situation. Our father wasn’t strong Himself, but we, His creations, are strong.”
Marbas understood, “You mean His main force comes from His creations, not Himself?”
That made sense.
Samikina said, “A creator isn’t good at destruction, but can create beings that excel at destruction. Now that He’s free, He’ll probably gather all His high-ranking creations for a final battle with us. That’s fine, saves us trouble.”
Marbas was dumbfounded again, thinking, “But I’m more worried about Sitri. Barbatos has been looking for Him for so long without any trace…”
Samikina turned His head, “You’re afraid He’s been influenced by the Creator God?”
“Isn’t that possible?”
Marbas understood Sitri, which was why He thought it possible.
“Yes.”
Samikina agreed.
Even demons sometimes worried excessively about those they cared for. Sitri was second only to Botis in father complex among the demons, so there was a decent chance He could be influenced by the Creator God and switch sides like the Calabash Brothers. Especially since the Creator God had a face identical to their father’s.
Marbas worried. “Sitri’s power is troublesome. If He really turns against us, wouldn’t He become the civil war Phantom God?”
“Hard to say, we need to find Him quickly.”
After a brief discussion, the two demons found no more valuable information in the room, so Marbas took decisive action and quickly activated the Infinite Trial. Samikina turned around, instructing Marbas to guard their father well outside, then walked into the Infinite Trial the next second.
Fortunately, Marbas had made preparations in advance, otherwise they might not have been able to connect to any plane successfully from the Elven Ancestor’s ground.
In the Infinite Trial, Samikina’s figure stood in mid-air, surrounded by chaotic energy, giving off an unfathomable feeling.
At this moment, Amon’s figure suddenly appeared, He curved His lips into a smile and challenged Samikina. “Fourth Brother, ready to fight me?”
Samikina looked at Amon expressionlessly, calmly responding. “Alright.”
As His words fell, shocking energy waves suddenly erupted in the Infinite Trial, frightening many demons.

Meanwhile, at the continental coast.
“He’s out.”
“Who?”
“My father.”
Arnolo looked at the sky, His eyes reflecting blue, as if thinking of something good, His lips slowly curving upward.
“I couldn’t sense His gaze before, I thought He had changed His nature. Today I finally confirmed He was trapped.”
“By whom?”
“By the omniscient and omnipotent Agares.”
Arnolo’s tone carried quite a bit of satisfaction.
The God of Transformation was internally shocked, then glanced at Arnolo, “You still haven’t answered my previous question.”
“What did you ask?”
Arnolo turned His head.
“…The Creator God’s purpose.”
“Why would you think He has a purpose?”
Arnolo actually counter-questioned.
The God of Transformation frowned. “Doesn’t He?”
Arnolo: “As the creator, He created this world, so what should He do next? Of course, maintain this world’s stability. In other words, all existence that threatens stability, like me, should be suppressed.”
“…Is that so.”
“He won’t actively do anything unless somewhere appears a factor threatening stability. Put it this way, this universe is His bonsai – would you spare pests that threaten your bonsai?”
“I see. So now He wants to…”
“Of course, suppress the biggest unstable factor.”
Arnolo smiled and said, “But it’s not me.”
The God of Transformation stared at Arnolo, “So now you’re just waiting for them to clash, then reap the benefits?”
“Haha.”
Arnolo shook His head, then laughed while holding His stomach.
The God of Transformation’s face darkened.
Arnolo watched the surging waves, His voice suddenly lowering, “What I want is destruction, the cleanest, most thorough destruction. Do you think their win or loss can achieve my goal?”
He glanced sideways at the God of Transformation.
The God of Transformation didn’t like guessing riddles, but answered anyway.
“The Creator God definitely won’t destroy you, and as for them, I don’t think they will either. They all think they’ve figured out your purpose, they won’t let you have your way. It seems like after making such a big fuss, you’ve only caused your father a minor inconvenience in the end.”
Arnolo choked, “You’re really not polite with your words.”
“That’s just how it is.”
“So what if it is? Continuing down the previous path was all failure, what’s wrong with placing hope in the unknown?”
Speaking thus, Arnolo became increasingly certain, “My father can’t tolerate that person, because that person created the demon god Baal and the omniscient and omnipotent Agares, yet my father has existed for so long without being able to create such special beings.”
The God of Transformation fell silent, “Sounds like narrow jealousy.”
“But isn’t that how jealousy is? Who says the Creator God can’t be jealous? All gods, including the God of Emotions Himself, are under the authority of emotions.”
When Arnolo said this, His eyes revealed deep sorrow.
“…”
The God of Transformation roughly understood what Arnolo wanted to express.
Emotions shouldn’t be above creation, so why could they affect creation? Because creation needs emotion, emotion is essential for overcoming nothingness.
Creation progresses from simple to complex, becoming more complex as it develops. The longer something exists, the more relationships it forms with other existences. Other things might not settle, but emotions inevitably would.
In some fictional worlds, divinity was considered absolutely rational, but in their universe, divinity was accompanied by emotions settled through the ages.
