- Chapter 188 - The Creepy Student Council President Who Stalks His Senpai (6) President’s Playground
Min Yi wasn’t joking. He didn’t have many textbooks, and his desk really was empty. After tossing some things out earlier, it now looked as clean as an unused seat.
He’d already completed the coursework for his third-year classes. As head of the Academic Affairs Department, most of his responsibilities now centered on organizing more efficient study programs for other students.
Su Ci didn’t even have time to decline before a lively girl in the front row turned around and eagerly helped her move her books and supplies over to Min Yi’s side of the desk.
“Oh, come on~ Don’t be so formal with him, Su Su! This guy’s usually super stingy—he never lets anyone touch his desk!”
The girl giggled into her hand and lowered her voice conspiratorially. “Su Su, can I call you that? You’re the first person that old bookworm’s ever made an exception for~”
Min Yi let out a quiet cough, his knuckles pressed lightly against his lips as he calmly denied it. “Min You, mind your words.”
His gaze dropped, and though he spoke to Su Ci, he avoided looking at her directly.
“As class rep, I’m just trying to help a new student settle in. That’s all. The reason I usually don’t let anyone touch my desk is because I have—”
Before he could finish, a group of blushing boys rushed over, piling snacks, little gifts, and handwritten notes onto Su Ci’s desk.
“Su Ci, these are welcome gifts! Next period’s equestrian class—would you like to come with us to the stables to pick a horse and some gear?”
Min Yi gave a helpless smile. This—this was exactly why being too popular wasn’t always a good thing.
His so-called “severe OCD” was more rumor than truth. In reality, it was just a convenient excuse to avoid unnecessary drama.
“No way! You guys think you have a chance? Ever heard of first come, first served?” Min You slammed her hand on the desk and stood up, glaring at them. “Su Su already made plans with us. Beat it before you offend me more than you already have!”
With a few sharp words, she drove the boys away, then promptly wrapped herself around Su Ci’s arm.
“Su Su, those guys are known flirts. They fall for every pretty face and change girlfriends like socks—none of them are worth your time. My cousin’s way better…”
“Oh, speaking of my cousin,” she added, her expression turning mischievous as she exaggerated her tone, “Nooo strings attached~”
Min Yi’s brows furrowed. His usual calm faltered.
“Min You.”
“Agh! Su Su, did you hear that?! He’s bullying me again! Just because I said one thing! So mean!”
Dragging Su Ci away from the scene, Min You left a visibly irate Min Yi behind.
Once everyone else had left, the flush on Min Yi’s face finally subsided. He stood up and began clearing away the pile of gifts, snacks, and love notes from Su Ci’s desk, dumping them all straight into the trash.
Returning to the classroom for her water bottle, Xia Chuhe froze in disbelief.
Min Yi… what the hell was he doing?
“What are you doing?!”
Another voice echoed her thoughts, but this one came from the front of the room—low, cold, and unnervingly pleasant.
Min Yi casually straightened his desk before greeting the uninvited guest.
“President, good morning. To what do we owe the pleasure?”
Chu Junling’s sharp, predatory gaze landed on Min Yi’s hand—specifically, the one that had touched Su Ci’s books—his stare slicing in slow, deliberate strokes.
Bang!
The sound of glass shattering cut through the air.
Xia Chuhe had just gotten a good look at the man’s dark, striking features. Her glass cup slipped from her trembling fingers and smashed on the floor. She didn’t even bother picking up the shards—she turned and ran.
Min Yi’s brows twitched slightly, but he ignored her.
Chu Junling strode forward, long legs eating up the distance. With a forceful grab, he yanked the textbook from Min Yi’s hand and slammed it back down on Su Ci’s desk.
“So, how does it feel sitting next to the new student?”
Min Yi smiled faintly. “Not bad.”
Chu Junling let out a short, bitter laugh. His mood was visibly sour. “What happened to your precious OCD? Cured overnight?”
With no one else in the room, Min Yi couldn’t be bothered to keep up his courteous façade.
“That kind of thing… is selective, isn’t it? If you’re into someone, even their worn socks feel like treasures worth carrying in your pocket. Isn’t that right, President?”
His gaze drifted from Chu Junling’s face to his impeccably tailored suit. From the outside, it gave nothing away—but Min Yi recognized the style. He’d ordered the same custom design once.
There was a hidden inner pocket, right below the chest.
Chu Junling’s eyes darkened. His voice turned glacial. “So you saw it? Then you should know better than to touch her.”
That might have scared off anyone else.
But Min Yi was the kind of obedient troublemaker who pushed limits with a smile.
“President, did it smell good?”
Before Chu Junling could answer, Min Yi followed up with a sly smirk. “Must’ve, right? Sweet, fragrant flowers always attract bees and butterflies.”
“Instead of wasting time here,” he added lazily, “why not focus on the stables? So many fine horses galloping around.”
Chu Junling nearly exploded with rage.
Feng Jiming had messaged him earlier to say that Su Ci would be at the Cybersecurity Department to get her campus card. He stopped by for a routine inspection… and ended up checking her schedule and classroom surveillance.
That’s when he discovered a certain someone’s “selective OCD.”
On the surface, Min Yi looked like a perfectly composed model student—but in private, he couldn’t keep his hands to himself.
Min Yi’s words also reminded Chu Junling of something else.
“There’s dust flying all over the riding field. That’ll be hell for a neat freak like you. No need to show up for P.E. Go copy all the academic notes from grades one through four. Should be no problem for the head of Academic Affairs to finish in two days, right?”
Min Yi kept smiling. “Of course, President. I’ll even make a second copy for Su Ci—helping classmates is part of the job. I’m sure you won’t mind.”
Outside the classroom, Xia Chuhe hadn’t run far. Worried that Chu Junling might give Min Yi trouble, she pressed her ear against the door.
But why… why couldn’t she understand a single thing they were saying?
They were talking about… someone’s socks?
What did that have to do with them?
Wait—was there a new uniform policy?
Then it hit her. That morning, when she’d arrived early, one of Su Ci’s ankle socks had mysteriously gone missing.
Could it be… one of them had it?
Even the elite heirs of noble families, born with silver spoons in their mouths, would stoop so low?
Xia Chuhe’s worldview was falling apart.
It couldn’t be Min Yi, right? He was so OCD—how could he possibly have any interest in some lowly transfer student’s…
So it had to be that pervert Chu Junling!
But why would Min Yi know about it?
Was he really paying that much attention to Su Ci?
Would he really go so far as to defy Chu Junling… just for her?
Peeking through the door crack, Xia Chuhe stared at the boy now quietly copying notes. His profile was soft, his features delicate and composed. Her heart twisted in both affection and bitter jealousy.
She’d thought Min Yi had feelings for her.
Even if he didn’t, the moon belonged to everyone. No one should be allowed to touch it.
But now, he was breaking all his own rules for Su Ci. If Su Ci were an S- or A-rank heiress, maybe it wouldn’t sting so much.
But if someone like Su Ci—an F-rank nobody—could be favored…
Then why couldn’t she?
She’d tried so hard to repay every single one of them sincerely!
Bang!
The classroom door swung open from the inside, and Xia Chuhe, unable to dodge in time, was knocked clean off her feet. Her head slammed into the floor with a loud, heavy thud.
“Oh, it’s you. The rude little special admit.”
Chu Junling halted mid-stride, his excitement barely contained, as if he’d just stumbled across some particularly entertaining toy.
Two patrolling enforcers stepped forward.
“President.”
Dazed, stars spinning in her vision, Xia Chuhe clutched the back of her head. Her scalp throbbed, and her teeth chattered in terror.
“W-What are you going to do?”
Chu Junling narrowed his eyes slightly. A shadow of menace clouded his elegant features, but his lips curved into a pretty arc.
“Sorry, I was rushing to P.E. Didn’t see you there. You’re okay, right?”
Xia Chuhe was stunned. She never imagined someone like Chu Junling—arrogant, overbearing, a walking personification of the school’s ironclad rules—would actually apologize to her.
Her cheeks turned pink. She lowered her voice.
“I-It’s fine… I’m okay. You didn’t mean to…”
Chu Junling’s smile only grew brighter.
“How could you be okay?”
He raised a hand in a casual gesture to the enforcers, his tone light and breezy—like ordering lunch.
“Take her. Break her arms and legs.”
“Yes, President.”
“No! Don’t! You can’t do this to me!”
Xia Chuhe screamed, eyes wide with horror. As she was dragged away, she caught a glimpse of Min Yi still sitting at his desk, back straight and unmoved.
No matter how she begged, he never once turned his head.
Author’s Note:
That’s not very lawful behavior… but come on, what’s the point of little kid tit-for-tat games? You bumped into my wife, so I’ll bump into you? That’s boring.
I’d rather slowly ruin you. Now that’s satisfying. ^ ◡ ^
