Eat Less Fish in the Future

In high school, Zheng Yimian suspected that the campus boss Liang Yu had a secret crush on her. When her mean friend found out, she was mocked for two years. 

The mean friend scoffed. “If that troublemaker had a crush on you, I’d livestream myself being stewed in an iron pot.” 

In college, the mean friend stood in front of Zheng Yimian and Liang Yu, carefully asking— 

“Can the water temperature in the pot be turned down a bit?”

Just entering college, Liang Yu rejected a bunch of admirers. “I don’t want to be the prototype for any character or plot, whether it’s novels, comics, or short films. I hope you can give me some space.” 

Not long after, he found several draft comic pages under Zheng Yimian’s pillow. While looking through them, he smiled and said: “I was wondering why I’ve been so tired lately. Turns out I’ve been the male lead in your drawings so many times.”

Zheng Yimian was mortified and wanted to run out the door the next second. 

But he held the door lock and said with a light laugh. “However… I’d be happy to oblige.”
